Dippers 1 v 1 Black Cats

Sunderland played well and from what I can see from Liverpool is they revert to long-ball tactics when they're under pressure. I suppose that was the reason to pay 35 mil for Carroll.

Commentators on the stream I was watching sounded about ready to burst in the first half, I must admit I wasn't even half as impressed as they were. Think Scousers look weak at the back as well. Nothing like a nice reality check for them!

Sessegnon looked good for sunderland. Very quick and skillful, not the best decision maker when he ha got the space/beat his man.

Does anyone else get the impression that Gervinho is utterly shite? No control, no composure, no physical presence. So far at least. Watch him be awesome now and make me look a tit.

Was quite impressed with him to be honest. Looks very quick and direct, puts defenders on the back foot.

Fucking Kieron Dyer....injured....again. That cunt is made of glass!

Decent second half performance from Sunderland.....I fucking hate them now as they have that elephant faced fuckpiece managing them and they are just essentially scum rejects throughout. I'd detest them if it weren't for the disco panted legend

Although scouse1 started brightly, Sunderland dominated the game and were damn unlucky at the end not to get three points.
Can't believe how many goals we've got to score on monday to overtske Bolton of all teams !

Been pap all game.

I'm actually quite impressed with Newcastle. They might well steal this.

Watched Aston Villa - Fulham earlier. Whay a borefest that was.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Twatted Barton, red card. Stupid fucking dive as well.

Edit. Well Barton dived as well.

hahahahaha fucking hell it's like watching coronation street.

Been a pretty poor opening day but this has livened it all up a bit. Hope newcastle go on to win it and song gets banned for the stamp by the FA aswell.

A) Because wenger has been an arse over the nasri thing and B) To hear wengers rant about it all.

i liked how barton held the wrong side of his head than the one Gervinho uhm "scratched" at...

it's only funny happening to the gooners. Barton's move to drag Gervinho up after his dive was maybe admirable, but prollee should have been at least the yellow he got if not more. generally grabbing a player by the shirt and trying to drag them up off the ground in a hostile way could easily be a straight red, no?

always entertaining, thanks Joey...now go hit the winner and make my saturday you silly haired cunt

cheers

Went to wikipedia to check Gervinho's stats for Lille and someone had already updated his red card there!

I see he still hasn't learnt to beat the first man with his set pieces. :-)
