Oh, I agree with you but those are all still kids. Walcott, Ramsey, Chamblerlain and all those dozens of french and west African kids didn't come for free either.

To be fair to him, with Sagna, Gervinho, Vermalen things wouldn't be this harsh. I've heard people saying that they are turning to Leeds Untd, but imho they are a little off. I think maybe there is a problem between Arsene and the board, maybe they want him out, but don't have the balls to tell him up front. Imagine if before the game with Newcastle they would had sacked him, imagine the press reaction, the fan reaction? This season will be a great test for Arsene and I for one hope he comes through it well as I happen to like him despite his faults.

It appears he has messed up with the Cesc/Samir nonsense by letting it go too late and not sorting replacements out ( so far anyway).If he recovers from where they are now to get 4th place or better it will be a fantastic achievement.
