Ted, you are so right about the Defoe swerver. You can guarantee De Gea would have let that one through.

Not that I was around for that game but I remember my Grandad telling me about that game and he used the words "typical City" and he'd watched us since the 20's!

The pitch was waterlogged, had been for the whole game mind you, and the referee abandoned it with 10 minutes to go on the grounds that only Denis Law could stand up on it.

ok I made the last bit up.

Law scored again in the replay but we managed to lose 2-1.
