You are right though, every word that comes out of his mouth is twisted to suit whatever agenda they are running. For me, he's not said anything derogatory about us or our club whilst his transfer request is still subject to much speculation.

I have no problems with Carlos playing for us and if Mancini does make him captain that will say to me that Carlos hasn't done anything wrong of note.

And Steve Superman Ireland was our best player in 08/90, but what happened in 09/10? Tevez is great and I think he'll get a few goals coming off the bench over the next few games, but it's a new season. We're much, much better with a more fluid formation and the amount of playing time that Tevez gets will reflect these improvements.

A TEAM can be far better without its "best" player.

We saw that last season when Tevez was injured, once we adapted, it brought better team performances.

City have evolved over the summer. At the end of last season we were shitting ourselves deep down, because if he left, it looked like we wouldn't be able to replace him. Unlucky for him that he couldnt move away.

If Tevez leaves at Christmas then I really wont bat an eyelid. When he requested a transfer last year, he lost a hell of alot of face, too much for me to ever fully trust him again. I feel like we are in a position where we dont have to trust him. It's his loss if he leaves, not ours.

If he stays all season and scores some great goals, thats great and Ill cheer him while he wears blue, but I still dont like him one tiny bit.
