Is he taking the piss? I've broke my finger about six times, different finger each time, most of them when I was a kid and still played football, climbed trees, etc. Is he sure he hasn't just broken a nail?

To be fair to him he played on this :

Image This is the field for the third most expensive stadium in the history of football.

I've read somewhere we came injured for the national call-up.

To be fair my ARSE !!

Ive played with a broken finger on pitches like this one in Africa ffs !! what is it with cotton wool around every fuckign player these days !!

Yep Carl, but that pitch isn't from a stadium that cost about 600 million euros, no?

600 million? Really?!
Roberto Mancini was the man who brought us our first trophy in 35 years. He was the man that brought us our first league title in 44 years. He brought us one of the greatest moments of our lives. He masterminded a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, and a Wembley win over United. He challenged Ferguson, he argued with him on the touchline, he brought success, and he punched the air in delight with the rest of us at the madness of it all. He had style, panache and a winning smile. All those memories he gave us will never be forgotten, in a wonderful period in this club’s long history.
And I swear, we’ll never see anything like it again.

Don't know where Forbes got the numbers, it was supposed to cost 120 million, but the final cost was around 250 million €.

I was there as well, Nasri should thank Blanc for not playing the entire game on that potato field. He would have broken a toe nail as well.
