He was dreadful. Missed two sitters and touch and control was awful.

But when it counted for both goals, look where he was: on hand for tap-ins if needed.

When it counted? What about that free header 5 yards out with 3 minutes to go? He's just lucky we scored after.

It's not luck that gets him in those positions though, which is my point.

5 yards ? Er i don't think so, and it wasn't that great a cross. Or are we talking about the same half chance ?

Not sure I remember it either - I recall a header from in their box which was shown on slow mo (that he should have at least got on target) but I think that was earlier in the game.

Doesn't matter when he misses chances like he did tonight.

The one off Koloarov's cross. Simple header which was tamely wide.

Ok so not 5 yards but still easy, chance, free header in the dying minutes. And for someone who's best abilities are in the air you have to put that away. It was an utterly dreadful effort.

Shit we have become majorly critical of ourselves these days.
Edin put in a monster shift yet again tonight.
He made a bollox of a few chances but in fairness to him he is finding some great positions.
All i really want to say is how happy i am that City are finally showing they are a side capable of competing with the best.
