Wonder whether its got something to do with Kolo being fined.

More unrest in the squad?

Happy with the line up though.

De jong on the bench, yaya plays in his stead. Wrong team from off site:-)

Think it's a mistake that De Jong's not starting, but we'll see. Is he injured?

Would have preferred De Jong to Yaya (he's guaranteed to score now)

No NDJ? Has to be wrong, he's the best player at the club. Arguably.

Agree, but apparently he has a hip injury so starts on the bench. Guess that means Hargreaves won't be in the squad to snatch the winner.

It wasn't classic NDJ, for sure, but he was outstanding v Villa. He is made for derbies, he has to play.

Subs: Pantilimon, Kolo, Zabaleta, Kolarov, De Jong, Nasri, Dzeko

Berbatov, Valencia and the Mexican guy for them.

Nige was quite rusty its true, if he's on the bench though then he can always come on second half for a run out when we are 3-0 up.. and Yaya can move forward again and fuck up the rags back line.

From BBC:

Alex Ferguson once again shows his faith in the emerging Danny Welbeck by pairing him with Wayne Rooney in Manchester United's attack, but Nemanja Vidic is not risked and Phil Jones is also out. Manchester City leave Samir Nasri and Edin Dzeko out of their starting line-up, but still plenty of attacking intent in there wit David Silva, Mario Balotelli and Sergio Aguero."

Not a lot of help, but good to see those 2 Rags out. Silva needs to get at Camel gob. Vidic and Jones were ideal players to stop it. Open door David, open door.
