Our unsung hero this season?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Gotta be Clichy or Milner.
Clichy gets almost no recognition in the press and among some fans.
Milner has been spectacualr every time hes on the pitch this season and finally he's getting
praise for his Man U performance and Villareal performance.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

I don't think Sergio gets the praise he deserves or should get in my opinion. I think mainly because of how well Dzeko started and how brilliant Silva has been. But that little Argie has been on fire in his first few months here. Forget about settling in, he's fitted in a treat.

I don't think there's been any unsung hero's this season, they've all been there for praise and been given it accordingly, just some moreso than others.

Gael Clichy for me. He has been excellent all season and has hardly put a foot wrong and added some much needed solidity to the left side of our defence

Tevez. That cunt has brought the team together and got them playing for each other. Mancini is now officially a bad motherfucker.

2 good calls.

Outside the box and all that. Strange how the obvious brings things together.

Everyone has "someone" to knock...a bit like your sneaky digs at Mancini ;)

ooooher. I was only aware of concerns over his man management which aren't sneaky so pray tell what the digs are you are referring to!

Joe Hart as well. It must be hard to stand there with fuck all to do for 90 minutes whilst the rest of the team in front of you takes the piss out of the opposition.

Kolarov. Not played every game and second choice but he's done very well whenever he's played. Scored a vital goal against Napoli and was great against Villereal and very good last night. Really upped his game this season, especially going forward.

add David Platt to the list too. I think Silva uses the reflection in Platt's shiny egg-head as a mirror to see around defenders and make the killer pass

If you are honest you have never really liked Mancini...you praise him as you would look a tit not too...but now and again you pounce on a negative(In your opinion) when the situation arises... I'm certainly not going to go through all your posts.

Shrek for his tweets after the community shield about a footballing lesson. Has anybody thanked him? Lesson learnt methinks.

Unsung hero? I'd go for Milner. Things haven't always gone for him but he always puts a shift in and things are finally turning around for him. The way the season is turning out though they are all heroes.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Joleon. God knows why people pick on him as a weak link. He's out performed Vincent in general.
As o.p. mentioned Clichy has been thoroughly splendid value for money.
