two things need to happen 1- we need to be consistent for 95 minutes and 2- yaya needs to stop loosing the ball.
if that happens we could win it 1-2.

If we attack down our left side and target Bosingwa we might get some joy. Silva should turn him inside out.

feeling a bit sick about this and think they might turn us over. AVB has lit a fire under drogba and mata is getting worringly good. plus, it seems like we tend to bottle it in monday night games.

Drogba will struggle tonight. He's had two blinding games recently and I think he will find him wanting. Keep Mata quiet and we will certainly come away from this game with at least a point.

Since it's almost certain City will score and probable that Sturridge will, it's got at least 1-1 written on it. I fancy Silva to get a late winner but just wish they were playing in daylight not a night game, games always feel more tense under the floodlights away from home. Too many bad memories of taking the missus to her first City match, Stamford Bridge one miserable night in 1984; avoided the Shed but still surrounded by Neanderthals in the main stand, lost 4--1 too.

I'm going to be the pessimist and predict our 1st loss of the season - a Torres wonder goal from the bench.

Boy, I hope I'm wrong!

Not got a good feeling about this. Chelsea are still a good side despite the fuore about their demise this season and so i would be very happy with a point.

Chelsea will play a really deep defensive line, with Terry and Ivanovic in the middle and Romeou right in front of them. Dzeko will be really important in this game because Aguero won't have much space to run in behind the defense. They will try to drop 10 men back and counter with Drogba, it is important not to let Drogba get isolated one on one with either centerback, one should challenge him and one should cover. City need to go to an away game at a big rival and boss possession for the majority of the game, otherwise this could be a really tough game where they could be shutout.

My prediction is that Silva plays in from the left where Bosingwa can't touch him and City end up with a 3-1 win. Mancini outwits AVB tactics wise.

We will put a bag over them and suffocate them..we are superior in just about every department. They will not come out of the blocks from the whistle, they will try and play defensively and try and get us on the break.

It wont work.

Chelsea 0 City 2

Aguero 1 Dzeko 1

Give over.

I had this feeling against Spurs and the Rags so like I said, I hope I'm wrong. The reason I feel this way is because we are not coming up against the same team that Arsenal and the Rags came up against. They've reverted to a very defensive system that doesn't allow for many goals and whereas I don't think their defence is the greatest at the moment, the cover from the midfield is covering them well. And if AVB's comments about them being out of the race if they lose, if that doesn't have an affect on his so called top notch players then I don't know what will.

We have the firepower and have all the tools to come away successful but I'm worried that we are going to push up so much that it allows for their quick breaks and getting players forward. Hopefully Mancini will have covered this and gee'd the boys up after the CL KO.

We'll see, anything out of this game will do me but I don't see a 5-1 or 6-1 happening tonight.

Well nervous now. Dunno if all these confident soothsayers are adding to it, or whether i'd be worse if everyone thought we'd lose.

I really need a five point buffer for my nerves' sake.
