Given all the heat on Liverpool, it would be great watching Dalgliesh explode if he isn't charged.

I disagree. And it's Dalglish you twat ;-0

I agree with CityGer the PL will ban Collocini as he did do Bellers and Bellers said as much walking off.

Well, I disagree with Gillie because who's ever listened to Beller's. Certainly not Clattenburg!

Wow, Carroll is awful...i cant remember a time this season where he has been successful at running with the ball at his feet. he's so uncoordinated its embarrassing.

I love how Coloccini can crack Bellamy in the face but when Balo does it (vs. Liverpool) he gets his 2nd yellow and is sent off. Fun.

That was a heck of a clearance by Skrtel to save Ba's goal....screwed my fantasy team.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

What happened to the traditional New Year's Day fixtures in the PL? This year, our match with Liverpool and West Brom v Everton are the only ones, and ours is so close to the Liverpool game as to give our players only the tiniest bit of rest. It almost looks planned, as others have theorised. Anyway, especially after Steve Kean's cosy little chat with Taggart the other day, one thing is certain, and that's that we will be kicking off against Sunderland tomorrow three points behind the Rags, and with quite possibly no superiority in the goal difference department. I can also see tomorrow afternoon being a real slog, too, so I hope Mancini uses his substitutions wisely.

By the way, I really do despise Steven Gerrard.

4-0 up at ht against the mackems then rest your top 3 and play 2nd half keepball. Who needs tactics, i am a genius ;-)

I would definitely go for a high tempo start, with promises of plenty of second half rest for key players. We will need to get our shooting boots on, though, because even half chances can end up pinging off clumsy defenders and sneaking in.

Blackburn is hardly likely to give them a tough game - Kean's off to Taggart's birthday party later, so imagine the atmosphere if he didn't roll over. Be a great party with them all there - Kean, Bruce, Moyes, Pulis, Martinez, Warnock, Jol. Even Wenger got an invite this year

Sounds like the most miserable party ever. Glad I'm not going...

Steve Bruce will probably blame the waiter and the bar staff when he gets curry down his shirt and wets himself after too many pints.

Quote of the day perhaps ?
Nay quote of the week ?

Martin Keown on Football Focus waxing lyrical about Garath Bale, whilst they are showing his ape like celebrations after his first goal against Norwich. "Well at the moment, he's on a planet of his own" !

Talk about kettle calling the pan black..... ( is that politically correct ? ) :-)

This is another one of those days when the rags are taking the fucking piss. They are full of holes & not closing down when they lose the ball but fully expecting Blackburn to give them the ball back without them having to do anything to get it.

A prime example Blackburn player freezes on the ball in 15 yards of space, rag strolls up & Bb player kicks the ball into him.

It's hilarious that Blackburn have done everything they are supposed to do on Fergie's birthday then accidentally gone 1-0 up without having an attack.

I guess Berbatov really is leaving in the January Window then ? Last present from him to Fergie on his 70th?
