I haven't read any other fans views about tonight, but personally I'm never ever going to apologise for being fuckin pissed off when we lose. And not because we were unlucky but we tried our hardest. But tonight was fuckin horrible!! There was only a handful of players that looked like they gave a shit. Micah and Hart (maybe Lescott to some extent) were carrying the whole fuckin team!!
As fans we have been spoilt rotten these last few years. But we've been through how many years of shit? We don't deserve to have the piss taken out of us by certain players.

We should have played better, fact, however, we shouldn't have had a penalty against us either. I can understand and accept we can't always play well, as long as we still get the points, who in the blue hell really cares.

I'm just getting fed up with all these decisions, sanctions and actions going against us at the moment. I am not one for conspiracy theories of the FA, but bloody hell, how many more times are we going to have gamechanging bad/wrong calls or have sanctions taken against us in retrospect that only affect us. We were so close to another Wembley showdown and I thought Mancini would of played a stronger squad with better tactics..I can cope with defeat.What frustrates me is losing when you mess about with a completely different formation to what we have seen before......A 20 yr old kid all on his own at centre back in th 1st half wound me up big time.

Our performance was indifferent but not quite as bad as some make out. Two shocking penalty decisions one for the dippers and one not given for us did cost us the tie. Then Dowd booked Kolarov for being fouled just to underline what an utter prick he is.

Savic isn't remotely ready for big matches but we're down to the bare bones with Vinnie out and Kolo away. I felt sorry for him tonight; his confidence is obviously shot after those horrible errors against Spurs. Playing Richards in the centre is all very well but then we lose Micah's pace and athleticism down the flank. Zaba is nowhere near as good at right back in my view. Mancini's right our squad does look threadbare, ridiculous though it sounds.

My perspective is we were shit v Liverpool twice because of a mixture of bad tactics & selection & the fact that some of our players aren't good enough. I think that's a fair, rational assessment, not knee jerk. Some of us have been begging to line up a centre back to sign in this window for months for example.
