If we had got to the final and won the fucking cup then the pressure would have been off us to win the bastard premiership...losing over both legs has put more fucking pressure on us to win the premiership and if we faill at that then the knives will be out for Mancini.

Mancini s fault we went out over 2 legs.....even if the inept fuckign ref fucked us over.

First leg was due to the team "bouncing" after the huge physical and psychological effort of the 2nd half of the FA Cup match, that and missing half the fucking team. No part throwing blame at any one. And winning that cup might well have increased the pressure in the league. To paraphrase Bill Clinton, not only is the Carling Cup not proper sex but also "it's the league stupid!" If we win the league nothing else matters. In fact it really is the be all and end all of this season.

Of course I've backed Mancini all the way, even from the early days, but its not even as if we 'have a game every three days'; there's a week's break until the next league game, and there'd only be one more game in the Carling Cup; if he wanted to give fringe players some game time there'd be plenty of opportunity for that with the Europa League.
I think he acknowledged he got it wrong afterwards with his excusal of Savic's performance with a more general 'we all make mistakes': too late, now

He knew Savic was likely to make mistakes, just as he knew the team last week would struggle first half. He's just testing the players to see if they can solve the problem in the roles he gives them. Then he can use it again if it works.

He's not arsed about the competition, pure & simple. Last season he did his dicking about in the Europa, the cups & in some league games. We lost some of the league games. This season we have to try & win the league so he keeps that sensible & dicks about in the cups.
