The key to that, is the little look up from Raphael before he delivers the ball. Same with Valencia at our place. No swerving dipping impossible to defend brilliance, just plain simple getting the job done. Pass it to a player on your own team who is in the box & has a decent chance of getting the ball.

We get that wrong from that position 90 times out of 100.

It's the only thing the rags do consistantly better than us now, as we're getting decent on corners & free kicks.

Rags are more street wise and also confident in what they are doing. We were beat By the occasion/ Anfield / Bellamy Worry for us they are not missing 50% of the team.

Since scoring Scouse tried what they did at our place just get everyone to defend but Enrique fucked up big style and now they will lose as the rags will do them second half.

If they gave a pen against Micah for that, why Smalling hasen't been booked and Scouse didn't receive a pen? Oh wait...

It certainly was..........Im fairly sure I read something about 2 footed challenges are a red card. Maybe that rule starts on Tuesday in the Everton match.

Couldn't have been because a foul was given, which means the ref saw it and gave the appropriate action. Therefore it can't be a two footed lunge, not at all. Even the replays show it only as a foul ! They haven't replayed it long enough and often enough for it to be a red card

Did anyone notice how the Scum games commentators like to talk so much about their players? I was listening for almost 3 minutes, how Welbeck had a nasty childhood and how Sir Bacon saved him, after in the first half i heard them talking on and on about the father of Hernandez, about how many goals he scored in Mexico, back in the day.
This asskissing goes game after game.

Hope i don't have to read any more nonsense about city's left footed players being so one footed, Kuyt should have buried the third with his left peg !

Was hoping for a replay. Happy to see the scum lose but this is a whole sequence of games they won't have to play now.

To be honest, I can't believe we've been knocked out of both cups by those two. I don't think either of them play anywhere near as good football as us, and that 2nd scouse goal summed it up, Blackburn would have been proud of that.

To be honest, I would take a goal like that every friggin week. Joe boot upfield; flick on by Edin; lethal finish by Sergio.

I would have been proud of that, it was a great flick on & a great finish.

The scousers could have scored about 5 more if they'd had Giggs or Valencia. The number of wasted opportunities by Downing was beyond ridiculous. The bloke is fucking blind.

A replay would have been much better for us. Like on Wed, the fans will be gutted but Utd's players & management will be more pissed off if Liverpool get a point at OT.

I actually thought the ref did well in this game. Maybe a two footed challenge but I didnt think it was that bad and he wasn't lunging out of control. Two possible hand ball penalties I thought were correctly not given and so did the commetators as they were accidental but I didn't hear them say that so was Micah's accidental.I know it makes no difference now but if it had been any other team it would have been said.

But as for Charlie Adams ,does he only know how to foul?

Whatever though good to see the scum go out even if it would have been better to go to a replay before doing it with lots of injuries.

No doubt they got up well and it was a good finish, but if United had defended properly then it would have just been another hopeful lumped ball up front.

Perhaps I've been a bit disingenuous towards Liverpool, but I don't think either team played particularly good football.

Oh and I hope the rags start playing De Gea in the league again, he'll drop them points on his own.
