The one angle he had, he decided it wasn't worthy of any action, so he didn't give RVP anything. In the Lescott case, the ref didn't see anything so the FA looked at it. They decided it wasn't worthy of any action. Tell me where the FA conspiracy is in this?
How convenient.
How predictable.
Ultimately, we all saw footage of RVP clearly look behind him and elbow the guy in the chops. We have also seen Mario from all angles which are still inconclusive. It is also debatable as to whether Webb saw the incident as some angles appear to show Webb looking at it and waving the game on.
No matter how you dress it up, Van Persie has got away with smacking Cuellar. Mario was found guilty and banned on less convincing evidence.
Van Persie is fortunate that the ref saw it, but not particularly clearly. Balotelli is unfortunate that the ref didn't see it (and I don't believe he did - he looked away at the crucial moment) although he would have reached the same conclusion as the RVP ref if he had. The "how convenient" comment suggests you believe they are out to get us. Do you not think that if they were out to get us, they would have chosen to charge Lescott, seeing as he is one of our two remaining centre backs, the other one being Savic?
