Thing even out through out the season ! How many legit pens have we been denied this season ?
Looked liked a penalty to me. No complaints.

Silvas was a blatant penalty and it wasnt given.

This.

The awarded penalty looked certain when I first saw it, but in replays it showed it was a dive. The tackle on Silva was indeed a penalty though

I don't think it was a dive but he did make the effort to make sure his foot connected with Baird

i think we only deserved 1/3 of our penalty claims..the first one may have been soft and not worthy but we converted 1/3 so its fine imo.

Vieira gave away a similar pen against Philips for Brum last season. I'm sorry but if you hang a leg out you're inviting the attacker to ensure there's contact and go down. Baird, just like Vieira, was stupid enough to hang a leg out and deserved a pen given against him.

Good to see us starting to ask the questions and at the time I thought it was a soft pen but a pen nonetheless. The Silva was a dead cert so obviously Dean evened things up.

Just had a bloke on TS saying that Johnno should get a 3 match ban for a dive so wait-out to hear from the FA. This will be the next big thing, just 'cos it's City of course!

1. Dive, but contact. Possibly a pen.
2. Blatant dive. Yellow card.
3. (Silva) Clear penalty.

Also, Baird should've been sent off for his tackle on Dzeko at the end.

I was sat in the family stand and as AJ went down, I said 'pathetic'. When the red finally blew I said booking, assuming he was doing him for the dive. Couldn't believe it when he gave the penalty.

just watched it on MOTD and my first instinct was right - it was a dive. Yes, Baird left a leg out, but AJ had to stab a leg out to find it.

Silva's should have been a pen and we've had enough dodgy decisions recently to it be too bothered, but next time someone thinks we're incredibly hard done to, remember that pen and that refs aren't bent, just abysmal.

I am 50/50 on AJ, but factor in the footing on a wet pitch, it is not completely out of possibility his other leg was skidding and caused the right to be extended.

That said, I don't give a fuck, we have been shit upon lately with calls (both during and after matches), about fucking time.

Stayed in my seat when he went down. Really surprised when it was given. Not it seen a replay yet but I thought he bought it at the time. What does Dave have to do though? Foul Dave in the box & you're alright this season

People saying we got lucky and should remember this when we get one against us... We did get one against us, like 15 min later! So we did not come out of this game ahead, we are still even. And dare I say it he should not hae denied the 2nd because he thinks he got it wrong. No way he could know so should have been given. Like utd got their 2nd midweek.

We got a call for us on first claim but that evened out pretty darn quick, I'd say we're pretty far behind still om calls.

Johnson more or less admitted to diving on motd. Said he felt the contact and chose to go down.

Thought it was a shocking dive. Hate it. When the referee blew I expected AJ to be penalised and booked. You could have knocked me over with a feather when a penalty was awarded. The second one,(and it was right in front of us) looked like he had the back of his heel clipped possibly, but I aint seen a replay of it.
Thought the foul on Dzeko looked bad, but it was a distance away from us.
Stop cheating AJ, there is no need for it.
