might not come accross as the most original suggestion (especially as its me first post), but thought silva was pure class today. he's looked a bit jaded last few games, but not today. beautiful vision in his passing, and came damn close to being on the end of kolarov's pass through the box

Lescott for me. He was superb and continues to have a very good season.

Barry was excellent and Hart's showed great concentration to make that save at the end despite having nothing to do the rest of the match.

Silva was great too - his touch and movement were excellent.

Lescott and De Jong were immense. Barry was also great and Silva's control is incredible.

I'm wondering whether I should add another choice, just to get the Villa Three in? Milner to Barry to Lescott, can't get better than that. Scoring against the club you support and celebrating like that! He'll do for me ;-)

For me it was Silva (lovely to see him back to his best) and Hart. he only made a couple of saves, but he won us the match.

I thought AJ was one of our more creative players in the first half, but unfortunately he faded in the second half, as he so often does.

I saw you and Ant posting in the other thread mate, but I honestly thought he was very poor from start to finish - giving it away, not being there to receive passes, not tracking back correctly, not beating his man. Maybe it's just me........................

Barry. First decent game he's had for us against Villa since he left them.
