I'm not bothered whether he gets banned or not PROVIDING it's reviewed by the independent panel. For them not to review it would be the wrong thing, as surely we all play under the same rules.

Unless of course the referee saw it and deemed it a fair and reasonable attempt to get the ball

Yeah. saw it straight away at the time, but the number of examples of totally unfair reffing, always to the advantage of the same teams, is so commom, I couldn't even be arsed saying anything.

The bias is real & it has been throughout my life.

I have just paid a flying visit to a refereeing forum I check out for info and feedback. Not even a handfulof posts regarding that game and suprise suprise...not one mention of that incident. Someone suggested Carrol should have been punished for all his gobbing off at the ref but someone attempting to swap the positions of an opponents kidneys with their liver...not a fuclin word.

Also had a quick look at Marriner's record this season and he has shown 3 reds in 16 games. 2 of them being Blackburn players.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

I saw that at the time and think they only replayed it once and the one time they replayed it they didnt mutter one word about it. I would love to have a session with the powers that be to discuss the outright bias shown and see how they justify their decisions, no wonder refs will not speak to the media after a game. weasel twats

The point is Sky and there spin off Talksport will not criticise Liverpool because they are afraid of turning off a revenue stream which is LiverpoolTV

The witch hunt that happened after the Spurs match with the "stamp" being seen in super slow motion and the ref admitting that if he had seen it at the time he would have sent Balo off was off the scale led it has to be said by Sky. Where is the statement from the ref on Sunday to sconfirm if he had seen the incident or not and if so what would he have done.

This is symptomatic of the clear double standards in the media and FA

It was Harry 'I never try to get other players sent off' Redknapp that bought it to Sky's attention, before that it just got a couple of real-time replays until his after match interview ...
