Eddie Izzard ran 43 marathons in 51 days ffs. (i know its a different thing but you get my point).
They train most days a week and if they cant handle 2 games a week then im shocked.
Don't mind rotating the side, but not the defence. Micah and Clichy, if fit, should play as many games as possible from now to the end of the season. And to think that 'its only Blackburn' so we can get away with it, is playing a risky game.
Saying that. Ive not managed City to top of the league. So i'll pipe down. Until it goes tits up and i'll give it the big 'i am'. ;)
I completely agree with you. It's a difficult one as i know we need to rotate on occasion but i really feel we suffer particularly in the pairs absence. To me i do not understand why we are all being led to believe a football player can't manage a couple of games a week.Top tennis players manage to play for longer and more regularly it requires far more endurance on the athletes behalf.
So why can't a football player do so?
I firmly believe we would still be playing champions league football if Micah and Clichy had started all the games in the group stages.
