Look, knowing his history and how pro-United he is, seeing him praise and compliment City takes a lot of credit for me. I like his punditry, he's shown to be honest, unbiased and generally does good punditry. As a player I loathed him, but as a pundit I find him to be enjoyable.

Edit, as others pointed out, Pluto is no longer considered a planet, but a dwarf planet.

There are some bloody good footballers who make bloody terrible pundits/reporters.

I have absolutely no time for Lineker or Shearer and very little for Hanson. There should be a law to stop ITV presenting football or Adrian Chiles even discussing it.

The panels thy have on Sky are mostly just there for comedy value but if you are going to do that, why not employ people who are genuinely funny. Thompson, Merson and Nicholas are all a waste of space and you can bung Redknapp Junior in there as well. Matt Le Tissier is ok and Jeff Stelling does all right considering what he has to work with.

Gary Neville is a good pundit - he is fair and sticks to the facts. He refers to his experience when it is relevant and his analysis is based on what is clearly a good technical understanding of the game. He was at the top of my list of players I disliked but to hold that against him now when he is so obviously doing a fair job would be unfair.

He has clearly fallen out with "them at the swamp" over his plans for a supporters club so it will be interesting to see if this impacts his allegiance.
