Funny how a few teams (rags and spuds) seem to be experiencing a sudden increase in injuries. English players. As if some managers think England are a joke and there players have more important things to do. If bob did this as a foreigner he would be fucking crucified.

Ashton me and you must have read the same conspiracy theory.Have you noticed how many times rag players are injured when international breaks come round especially when they are meaningless friendlies.

which is an absolutely shit stance and decision to make for a friendly match. He should just come out and say that he doesn't like Mario. would be more truthful

Not at all. Prandelli left him out because of the Parker kick thing & his general knack for such antics, which is perfectly acceptable. Mario has become an integral part of the Italy setup under Prandelli, so to insinuate that he doesn't like Mario is bit of a shit stance imo.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bob was consulted, too. After all, Bob has left out Mario to brood over his bullshit a couple of times himself. On top of that it's a nice little day off in place of another midweek trip.

Yeah, they must hate each other...

I think it's good that the Italian manager is doing this. It all helps to show Mario that it's not just Bob telling him he has to stay out of trouble. I wish they'd both start telling him to stay on his feet too, because when he cuts out the shit & plays football, like last week, he's immense. He's strong as fuck when he wants to be.

watching saturday's match on the box, i knew that mario was going to score as soon as he started making that run for our first goal. there was a real confidence/purpose about his movement that i wish we would see more of. the had has the potential to be the second best player in the world.

I don't see how keeping him completely out of the Italy squad makes him an integral part !!
Bob has never dropped Mario when he was eligible to play but always had him on the bench and gave him playing time. That's what Prandelli should have done.

Utter fuckwittery - i'm sure its a mandatory requirement for the England job

In fairness to SP, Micah has played CB at least once this year. Cannot remember the match, but Milner ended up at RB for a while as well.... I am sure that was enough to convince SP.

Micah played on the right side of a back 3 vs the rags in the 2nd half after Vinnie was sent off.

Milner played right back for the first half. He was shit though, so he will probably turn out at right back tonight
