One of Hazzard / Bale
Subotic
Martinez
Two of Cavani / Lavezzi / RVP / Cisse / Ba /Benzema
One of Hoilet / McLean

Ade, Tevez, Balo, Dzeko, Johnno, Savic, Bridge, Santa Cruz, Kolo, Hargreaves to go. Must be a good £90 - £100Mil in fees there and more than enough freed up in wages to cover the wages of our targets.

I actually think the departures are pretty nailed on. Perhaps Johnno and Savic might survive but I'd say the rest are pretty much certs to leave. can't see Bobby trusting Balo or Dzeko for next season.

FFP is obviously the problem. I reckon even with £95Mil brought in we'd be left with a deficit of anything between £20 - £40Mil depending on which of those targets we brought in.

Bosnian name, favourite player Dzeko, yet you put the wrong accent on Modrić. Interesting...

Agreed

If Tranny is an option, just pay the money.

My pride as a person/football fan would have to precede my pride as a City fan in such a scenario.

Big no for me.

Tevez?

Ronaldo obviously could, but if I'm being honest, I'd rather we sack bob for Jose if we just want someone to guarantee us titles.

I fucking hate Ronaldo.

i'd have him in an instant. he'd have to be 90M tho wouldn't he? didn't Real pay 80M?

i think realistically given the FFP implications, if they are indeed real which i'm still not 100% convinced of btw,....the only way is like 35-40M plus Tevez and others who have already figured into the FFP as makeweights, maybe Ade or Kolarov?

That's on the premise he hasn't blown his wad beforehand, I'm assuming?

For me, City making a signing like that would be 'a bridge too far' between me and the club. I can take the impossibility of me being able to buy tickets for games, I can handle being accused of being some bandwagoner, but I can't take to a player with his antics playing for the team I've supported since being a child. I honestly think in such a scenario, "City" would take a backseat to "football" for me as a fan.

good point about his wad...didn't he once exchange wads with Nani in front of some ladies of the evening? am i making that up for entertainment value or does someone remember this story?

Back on topic, if my theory held true he, and Messi, would probably be close to done which seems unlikely.

Are they using the footballing equivalent of the 'penis pump' to keep it going on the pitch? interesting training methods may be the key here.

cheers

Much as I understand fully those who reckon Balo will be for the door I would say that there is very little chance of that happening for one key reason....saleability. I don't think there will be anyone out there willing to pay what we paid for him and after having staked so much on getting him in I really don't think Roberto/the club will want to take a bath on him. I think he'll get another season to justify the faith.

Agree on most of the rest of the outs....Johnno is borderline I agree. I think more likely than not if only because I think someone in the mould of Liverpool or maybe even Spurs might come in for him with a decent offer and I think we'd bite their hand off.

I could kinda see Savic surviving but definitely see him going out on loan if he does. I just again cannot see anyone coming in to buy him after seeing how badly he has floundered this season.

Kolo I don't think will be going anywhere. I think that the action he's had second half of the season will be enough to convince him to want to stay and that he's in with a shot of being a regular starter. I don't think he will be as I think we'll bring in the real partner for Vincent....

Dzeko I think will definitely go. There will be quite a list of clubs keen and I think we'll get a decent fee.

Tevez i hope goes, we should have been able to get his market value back up by then and he has to go for us to bring in someone like Lavezzi.

Then one of two quick (rather than "tricky") wingers....but if we do sign one or two of them then we absolutely need a target man (Cavani) if we do let Edin go.

All in all it feels a bit depressing writing that. I would have liked this summer to have been about consolidation and adding depth (as I think we've felt "thin" at times this season and it has hurt us) but it seems like some degree of reconstruction required as the playing staff really hasn't performed consistently enough to the level they should have been capable.

I've defended Johnson on here & I do think he's a talented player but watching him the last few games, his delivery is simply not good enough to do the job Mancini wants him to do. It's no worse than Silva or Nasri's but Mancini allows them to roam around & do other stuff. AJ is (wrongly imo) not allowed to do that; he's supposed to just stay out wide & he just isn't that special at that specialist job. If we'd had someone who is a fantastic wide player coming on in recent games, we would have scored ten. The areas are there to be exploited but where Giggs would whip a ball in AJ doesn't (neither do Nasri or Silva) & when he tries he gets it wrong.

Who that wide player would be, I don't know but definitely it isn't AJ. It could be a central player who drifts wide & delivers the ball of course. The key is SOMEBODY other than Kolarov, (who is a liability) delivering a decent ball.

Imo, we still have two teams, an A & B team. We need two A teams, which means that most of the players Mancini doesn't trust to start in the biggest games, need replacing with players he finds difficult to leave out.

That would mean AJ, Milner, Kolarov, Kolo, Hargreaves all going & a question mark over Dzeko. The question of Dzeko is; if we get a world class supplier of croses, will he get on the end of them ? I'm not certain. He got several fantastic crosses v Sunderland and wasn't in the right position to take advantage (nor was Balotelli). I recon if you'd swapped either of them for Brian Kidd, he would have been stood exactly where the ball went & headed it into an empty net.

If we keep Dzeko or Balo or both, we still need the bloke who will run into those areas to score goals. They don't.

We also have to consider the rules on 'homegrown' players & how that will influence the squad.

Personally, I'd have Bale as my No 1 transfer target, followed by the obvious usual suspects (Hazard, Munian etc).

I would rather have bats chewing on my testicles that watch Ronaldo in a City shirt btw. Why not just support real Madrid ?

City won't have any credibility left if we sign that cunt so what's the point in supporting City as opposed to anyone else ?

Robben or Lavezzi for pace on the wings, preferably Robben hes a match winner.

Vermaelen at the back alongside Kompany, quality player. We are bound to sign someone from Arsenal.

Mario Gomez or Gonzalo Higuain up front if circumstances mean we need to replace anyone outgoing.Gomez would be a monster in the premier league.

If you ask me, i think it's really important that we buy players that know the league and who can win us a game on their own at, let's say Stoke. We need those types of players.

So, we need a center back. We have the pair Vinnie - Lesco who was the best in the league, so we need a replacement for them. Not world class, but one who can handle lower teams and who doesn't have a panic attack when he has the ball. So Hangeland or Heitinga can do the job for me.

Then we need wingers and although i really like Robben and Ribery, they will get murdered in this league. The have glass feet and they won''t handle premiership tackles. So, Hazard is a must. Need him asap, pay whatever. He is like Bale, but with two good legs.

Two strikers, if Herman and Dzeko are sold (even Mario). Cavani and ?. You might laugh, but i would buy Defoe, even for a year. I am sure he can deliver (or Bent) + give games to Guidetti.

And last one, buy Pizzaboy.

Are we all getting old??

I totally understand the Ronaldo feelings, I stand by that it simply wouldnt feel right.

But can you imagine every boy under 16? They would fucking love it, the 2nd best player in the world (who outscores the best player in the world) playing in a blue shirt.

I would feel sick watching him score and "presume" that we'd all love him, watching him milking the applause, grabbing the badge on his shirt etc.

But a whole new generation of fans would fucking love him, and another few million would support City around the world. Ronaldo would win us the league, a cup and give us success in Europe, no doubt.

While I'm here, I don't think we need to fuck with the defense, its fine, VK and JL are just as good as any other premier league pairing. What fucked us this season is Kolo was at the Africans when we needed him, or both VK and JL were injured at the same time. It was good to see Micah can stand in at CB, and tbh Zabs was fine at RB for a couple of games.

We need midfield pace, and a striker that can be Tevez, Balotelli and Dzeko all in one (Crouch!)

I don't think those Napoli strikers are the answer, they play in a very rigid formation with tailored tactics. City don't line up or play like that. I can see it taking a season for Cavanni or Lavezzi to settle in and even then we wouldn't end up with the same players we see today. Would we just be better slapping Dzeko with a wet fish and force him to watch video's of his time in Germany and the Spurs game and tell him to play like that.

Ideally we need someone upfront premier league proven, young enough and in form. Van Persie isn't quite the right person and he is also a fucking MASSIVE CUNT of a human being. Rooney - no, Ba -no, Defoe, Bent, no no. If you look down the list of top scorers this season we have 3 of them. Dempsy isn't good enough for the top. Adebayor shame but obviously won't play for Mancini again. Sturridge is the next one that stands out but he wouldnt feel right either. So maybe we are going to have to look abroad. I would just facepalm if we sign an Italian striker. Not exactly a good record with them.

Maybe we have the strikers we need, Tevez out Guildetti in. Maybe its the tactics and feeding of the strikers and different teams that we need to look at.
