halifax town. a workers cooperative where we all own one equal share in the company and are equally responsible for fucking up our future prospects. we have money, but it's not a lot. we have a ground, but it's not ours. we have great players, but no-one else would buy them, we get by on the odd genius idea, and a distinct lack of effort. and we smell of damp.

The "new style" newcastle. Doing better than expected as only been going 3 years and I`ve just taken on a new consultant who`s gonna be my Demba Ba.

We'd be Everton. Little funds, not much expectation, but some how fought with the big boys and took a few worthy scalps.

Plymouth or Pompey ironically, as they're both skint and in a shit state.

i'd say swansea ... relatively small operation competing against the big boys and finding some successes ... but also being out classed at times. We do the little things well and the whole organization plays as a team. Met with some great successes in the recent past and right now we are trying to build on that success while expanding for the future. Try to be attractive but responsible with our play, and many people have accused us of over achieving, though we deal with quiet a few reality checks along the way.

relatively young, innovative leader ... we'll see how swansea do in the summer, (assuming they stay up) but we have just undertaken a big expansion project and are working out the kinks. Let's see if swansea follow suit.

Rangers - spent quite a bit of money without every planning on giving it back, over inflated our staffing structure, paying ridiculous amounts in wages. Have pretty much now sold anything of any value, squeezing as much out of the existing staff as possible, likely to end up sacking plenty of staff to make ends meet. This will then result in poor performance on the field & many years before we manage to claw ourselves back into a position of strength, if that is at all possible. At least we can blame someone else for putting us in this position & in the worst case scenario we'll end up merging with Celtic!

Sounds like a public sector to me.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Athletico under Jesus Gil.
Far too many managers and a ruthless bastard at the top who likes sacking people.
City and sniffing knickers.

IIRC I was in Stockport last year, I asked the barkeep where the ground is, and he pointed out the window and said the pitch was being used as a carpark. Wasn't sure if he wa serious...

Oh and I was working for Celtic at my last job - sinking ship. My current one is clearly City, the biggest and getting better.

Arsenal. Recognised around the world, has some amazing talent, but sometimes too many passes when a shot would suffice.

Probably something like Twente: One of the top players domestically (without the financial muscles of the traditional top clubs). Globally we're a midget, but every now and then we beat the international giants.
