I've been waiting IT for long time and till tonight to experience a full and relaxed enjoyment...

no qualifier needed for Sir John, just a huge THANKS from deep of the heart.

loved that "A similar crowd saw MARIO’S second"

May the Lads live up to the quality of one their biggest fan, and the filth will be doomed.

here's taking another bow.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

I'm still pondering whether to read it now or later in the weekend. Is it worth the wait?

I shared the same feeling when early this morning I discovered that the Author had already [strike]discovered[/strike] disclosed his work.
Then I lasted till the aftermath of the dinner...

I guess You are blessed to know him in person, so You already know the answer to your rhetorical question... :-)

Actually, I've never met John. We were supposed to meet up for the FA Cup celebrations as I'd fecked my ticket allocation up, we didn't get the chance as the club phoned me at the ground and sorted them.

I did get to meet Gillie though, brief encounter but nice to put a face to the poster. I've met a few off here and very good people they are. Tt would be nice to get down to the Townley again, early doors to at least have a decent [strike]drink[/strike] meet.

Maybe one day.

lol. I swear I did carefully considered if adding that qualifier, already in reckoning of the outcome... :-)

Alien? if You allow me a little twist of Gordon Sumner, I'd say:

"I don't drink coffee I take tea my dear
I like my toast done on one side
And you can hear it in my accent when I talk
I'm an Italian soon to be in Manc [to pass a pint toward you]"

Hahahahahaha....Sympathy at last from the Dazzler. Hope yer coping with the new stress of success mate.

If, by "bagging it", you mean slagging it off, how could they? It was sheer quality cobber. Something for everyone, stats, intellect, humour and even shit. Not even Gillie could hit me on this one and we all know what a bully he is, with me....:-)
