nigel adkins has done a terrific job at soton...from 21st in league 1 when he took over to the premier league in a little over 2 years. brilliant.

But as we know these teams come up and expect to stay up, they lose a few matches and sack the managers that got them there e.g. Wolves, Newcastle etc.. It only worked out for Newcastle in the end the rest end up in the relegation battle soon as they do.
