I'm just glad that Manchini and Tevez have kissed and made up after that big row at the awards evening last week ;-)

Over the blue moon after the win over Newcastle but now anxious as fuck as QPR only need a point and Hughes will park the bus and have 10 men behind the ball all game long to get a draw. And we all know how good he is at getting draws :)
so now as every enemy circles our city

In one breathe they are saying our victory is hollow and meaningless because we have bought the title and then in the very next breathe they go on to say they need to spend over £50 million this summer to catch up. Why do they think they are the only team in England who have the divine right to spend money.

because the vast majority are just wankers of the highest order.

No matter what happens next year, if city do win the league this year (thats IF Gillie, dont be getting rag like), then Dzeko has played a part in citys history that wont be forgotten this season nor 30 or 40 years down the line. He will be the player who finished Silvas sublime pass in the 1-6, and he will always be the player who scored 4 at spurs, which was the day everyone across europe really sat up and took notice of city.

dzeko will have his place in history if we hold our nerve next week, alongside those like bell, lee and summerbee - and who is to say he wont write a few more pages in the history books yet

Proud. Confident in the set of players who have got us this far. Slightly apprehensive about the choice of referee for next Sunday. Happy.

A bit tired because I didn't get to sleep until about 4.30 this morning. Wouldn't mind a cup of tea as well actually.

Agree

5 games ago the consensus was our aim should be to win out and whatever happpened, we would be able to hold our heads high with our finish to the season.

So 1 more win required.

I dont feel giddy or like the job has been done yet. Theres one more game to go which we must win and I hope the players and everyone associated with the football club concentrate on this one last push towards imortality.

Buzzing but cautious.

Went to bed at half time in the scum game expecting them to pile on another three or four in the second half. Woke up at 3.30am, checked my phone, sniggered and fell back asleep.

We're so close, 90 minutes away from being league fucking champions. I know it's a small thing but I want gold patches on the arms of our shirts next season.

There is still a chance of QPR coming to our place and getting something but we've won five on the bounce and the performances have become much more professional over the past month. The momentum is with us and that's why I'm confident with only a tinge of doubt.

Plus I've had a few quid on us to win it since August.

It's all a bit strange really, odd day in all. Just as Yaya's second goal went in my phone went and it were to tell me that my Mum being rushed to hospital so the jumping up and down was a bit dampened as I had a fifty mile dash to go to her. Burst appendix and fucked up blood poisioning emergency surgery during night, so not had a wink of sleep or even the chance to have a wank over the win.

Now I hear good news on the ill fossil front.............

Good to hear mate, happened to my dad on holiday a few years ago and it wasnt pleasant, thing had turned gangeenous too. He was not in any danger after a day or two but took him a long while to get back on his feet and hes only 60.

Just proves footy isnt everything but glad it seems to be settling down so you can enjoy the next week without too much worry.

Like when we got through to the FA Cup final against Stoke. Confident that we'll win but knowing we haven't won anything yet and there's always a chance it could go tits up. I mean it is City and we'll almost be playing the old City 11 with a rag boss!

It's going to be like an FA Cup 3rd round against league two/conference opposition. We know we can win, we know we should win (especially at home), but there's that nagging voice of "DON'T FUCLE IT UP NOW!"

still trying to sober up after yesterday
it's a bit strange the past 2 games were so massive but I experienced them in a very different way

I was extremely nervous the entire week before the derby against them and the nerves didn't even go away when the game started
they stayed pretty much until vinnie's goal
after that game I was completely over the Blue Moon
I could seriously only think happy things the next couple of days

yesterday I was much less nervy, altho ofcourse relieved when Yaya finally broke the deadlock
after the game vs the barcodes I went for the old celebrate in pubs with a lot of drinks strategy
