Rag mates.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I got a son who's a rag fan. I know, I know, I must have done something seriously bad in my previous life.

Anyway we have always had a pact not to take the michael whatever happens. So we are having deep and meaningful discussions on the terrible British weather and the outrageous price of fish.

They really are the most spineless cunts goin. I really do think football can actually form a persons personallity through every day life, or its the fact that you have to be an arsehole to support the rags in the first place.

Iv work in many places alongside these fookers and they really cant handle losing. Iv worked with guys that will have a face like a slapped arse all week or even not talk at all after a rag defeat, but will give it the big'n after a win. We all get affected by results, but we fookin man up and handle it. As said earlier, I work with a guy and gives it the 'Im not really into it anymore, it ent like the old days' bollox, after a defeat. After a win,hes back into it again..GROW A PAIR OF FOOKIN BOLLOX!!

Where Im from, I can 99% of the time use the 'You've never even been to a game' and 'Why the fook do you support them in the first place?'

I heard fook all for most of the season. They went 8 clear with 6 games to go and my phone goes mad with texts from the fookers. Since then, Iv heard fook all.

I wonder how many City fans have encountered this behaviour from rags, even before City started to challenge ? I can remember hearing this from loads of them when Chelsea appeared on the scene.

Even worse now we've come along. If I had a quid for the number of times I've heard the 'lost interest in football' line in December from the same wankers who were jumping for joy & giving it large in March only to be disillusioned by football in April.

One geezer used to text me almost every day, sometimes ten times just talking football. He always texted during rag matches (complaining about the ref etc ), then City got money. Texts have got less and less.

Got one during the derby which suggested the whole title race had been stage managed. Nothing since.

I was on a stag night Saturday. Opening line from a Rag to me, Do you think they will sack Mancini. LMAO, Pickled his head with comments The night got more messy, I kept the line we have won nothing and QPR this and that... He ended up with his Rag father denying they went to the games, Until a mutual mate took great pleasure in pointing out they were bullshitting the fuck out of us as both have season Tickets. This lad was pissed, close to tears, Anyway we all headed for a curry, they fucking bailed, never arrived. Texted James the rag 3.45 Sunday still awaiting a reply. Spoken with the Groom today, James was so angry he has fucked off back to London ! He is now thinking about attending the wedding as the thought of Blue moon being played is to much. Brilliant. Therapy here they come..... This is the best man FFS.

There is a few at work all very quiet at the minute but after the arsenal game my Facebook was greeted with a picture of a city bus with the wheels off and one of them changed the profile pic to a premier league trophy which says 20 on its way. I've not started in them proper yet but I will do.

One of my supervisors is one of those FC united fans unless united are top of the league or in a cup final I treat his gloating with the same reply what does it matter to you cos you don't care anymore

I am so glad I'm not the only one who has encountered the "I'M NOT INTERESTED IN FOOTBALL ANYMORE" and "FOOTBALL IS FUCKED" and "FOOTBALL IS JUST ABOUT MONEY NOW" shite.

Translated it really means...."I CAN'T TAKE IT THAT CITY HAVE MORE MONEY AND ARE BECOMING MORE SUCCESSFUL...UNITED ARE FUCKED"

Let's not forget that this walking away process has been going on for a while. Not long ago, the rags boasted a 10,000 over subscription to their swamp games. The last couple of seasons, they have had to advertise and they often don't fill the ground. Give it a couple of seasons and they will be really struggling.

FUCK EM!!!!!

Gotta laugh at how pathetic some of their fans are. I'm hearing exactly the same 'I'm not interested anymore' boll*x now and when they were looking good for the league incessant texts, snide comments etc. Typefies the glory hunting rag character, I'd say most of them only started to support because they were winning trophies.

In fairness though I've met good and bad, the bad blindly spitting propaganda heard in the media and showing their ignorance when talking about MCFC. The good ones I can have an objective football conversation with. Like any club I suppose would have their portion of knobheads (we have ours too to be fair). Scum do seem to have a disproportionately high number of these though.

It will be so funny to see how they cope with learning to be losers, they've dished it out from position of being very successful in the past now they're gonna have to eat it big time, oh happy days

watched the game at my friends house on his projector screen. Him and his brother have been rags for a long time. It usually gets heated between us when we discuss city/rags but there was a whole new level during the game which culminated in dejong's card against welbeck. He just kept saying "there's a talking point" and "he has to get a red" .... any attempt to reason about it was met with pure vitriol.

haven't spoken to him since then, but I was watching the city newcastle game at slainte in baltimore and a rag couple was there watching it. After aguero missed that 1 v 1, the lady rag says "playing like that they don't even deserve to win anything." I asked if united deserved anything even after going without a single shot on goal vs. city? It got a bit awkward after that.

To be honest i know a few rag supporters and we debate about the league and other teams as well as our own. Never any heated arguments even after a derby. My uncle (married to my dads sister) is a rag and I go around his house every so often to watch football whether it's rag or city or champions league. Very honest fellow and will admit that in the two occasions they have lost city were the better side. I guess as some suggested it just depends whether you get the twats or the "true" supporters who was willing to listen and be honest.

got 2 rag mates
one of them is quite reasonable but I haven't heard him at all since the derby...odd

the other one was texting me all time, especially when we were on that bad run, he was actually just laughing in my face as he was completely convinced (like many) that it was over after the arsenal game
it's funny how things can change
he did however admit that we completely deserved to beat them
now he's back to his old self, bringing up their history how they won 19 titles and he just started a discussion on facebook about the 'City money'

fun fun fun

Had bet with a rag neighbour last season that City would qualify for CL - 6 bottles of wine. He offered me double or quits on who would finish above the other this season. At the time I was not sure we would make that big an improvement this season but figured if I really believed then I should go for it so the bet is on!

My best mate is a rag, and he actually wants us to win the title. Everytime I bring it up he says I a supporter of football before I am a supporter of Manchester United. Basically he hates the rubbish stuff they play and says we play far better stuff so we deserve it..

My brother is also a rag and after the derby he admitted we were the better side and deserved that win and if we win title we deserve that as well.

Should have them both stuffed & stick a commemorative plaque underneath.

Next season the "gold" and green scarfs will be back out, and FC United's attendance will rocket again. Fucking pathetic, support your club you hypocrites~!

FC United have stalled again this season by the way. So much for 7 promotions in 7 seasons.

I had exactly the same on my facebook mate , City Have blown it, we have won the league etc etc , when we lift that trophy at the weekend they are going to get it back from me big time.
There is a shop right next to the site where I am working at the moment and the woman in there is a rag and we have been discussing the title run for a few months now, and not once have I said anything nasty about them , I went in there on Tuesday morning and was greeted with derogatory comments about City, and how we have bought the league and all that ballocks, I didnt say a word to her just chuckled to myself. There are also a few rag brickies on the job , who have been silent this week.
