I actually don't mind them as a club now. I see them as kindreds helping to quash the tyranny of the big 4.

Bale is not rated all that highly by Spurs fans I know, they reckon he goes missing too often and wasn't up to his 2010-11 standard in the season just finished. As for their best player Modric, he and the chairman shook hands on a promise two years ago that if a "big" club came for him he could go, expect that to happen now.

Spurs "So you want to play for us next season"
Ade "Yes I love this club with my heart, I must stay and score many goals, play every game"
Spurs "yes yes, that sounds good, but we cant afford your wages"
Ade "I know, tell City to pay half of them"
City " fuck off"
Spurs "Ok Ade, youll need to take a pay cut, if you love us, and you want to score goals, we can promise you 38 games a season"
Ade "no pay cut"
Spurs "well you're on 180,000 a week, you're getting older and your not actually that good. We can afford £100,00"
Ade "................................................*click*"
Ade " Roberto, I love Manchester City I want to play for you and score many goals
Roberto "Ezzz Normal, I hear this from many player, but, tough shit dickhead.
Ade "boo hoooo hooooo"

I can really only see Modric leaving (and Defoe, Dos Santos, Krancjar, and possibly Saha)...i think VdV and Bale will both stay one more season.

Ade is a different matter..he wants to stay but Spurs won't pay his demanded wages....and chances are he's going to
be irrational and not lower them
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

"Tottenham's Gareth Bale signs new four-year contract"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18613479

"But Bale's decision to commit his long-term future to Tottenham suggests the club is close to naming a replacement for Redknapp, with Villas-Boas favourite to land the role"

Must be something big going on here. Sigurdsson interested in signing and now this. All without a manager.

Bale apparently ruled out of the Olympics with a 'back injury'. How convenient.

This will be a hell of thing to watch.

He was sacked by Chelsea's old guard. I wonder what `arry`s boys will do, knowing that old drunk face has an influence on some of them.
