Got to agree on some points piccs, we bought potential , he was thrown in too early and has not been given a chance by some fans. Ideally would have liked him to go on a season loan in the championship. It may be that he was never going to be good enough, but we will never know. Dont think he was treated disgracefully though.

He is quite a reasonable passer of the ball. I agree about everything else, he is really poor.

Sometimes fans get in a mindset about a player and cannot see any good whatever happens. When it is a small minority it doesn't make much difference, like when half the village of Honley had pitchforks out hunting for Martin Petrov. When it becomes a mob mentality it is a problem. Feel sorry for Savic, wish him well.

i also feel sorry for savic, whatever happened, he came to our club to try to do his best. I agree that he may not have been good enough during his time here, but he's 21 years old for fucks sake. CB's rarely come through as a finished product that early, and I do think he was thrown in too early. Especially coming from Serie A to the prem, the change in pace must have been like a blur to him.

He may have been rightly criticized for some of his performances, but in no way does he deserve a lot of the comments directed his way. If he is out and back to italy, firstly i'm sure he'll be relieved ... secondly, I wish him all the best and hope he uses his time here to motivate him to improve himself and reach his potential. I think it's really curious that such an innocuous character would be the target of this level of abuse.
