well, actually, the 3-5-2 (1-1) has just been thought for certain European games.
we would have not returned home with empty hands from Munchen / Naples, if that formation had been implemented (not upon training as it's still now). Not a big fan of, but it might be usefull if properly implemented, which it's not yet.

All right guys, here's how the Pots look after tonight's games ...

The ones in Red background, we can't get; the ones in darker Grey background could fall either side of the Pots so let's wait till tomorrow but tonight's games confirm PSG and Ajax join Juventus in Pot 3 so can be drawn against us. Borrussia Dortmund if fall in Pot 3 will see as few as one and as many as three groups of death formed, but if falls in Pot 4, there could well see three groups of death and an even deadlier group where all 4 could easily compete for the two spots.

Oh, and there is that League Cup (Capital One Cup) third round draw on Thursday as well ... if anyone is interested :p

Please no more than one of Bayern, Dortmund, or Barca in our group.

I'm fairly sure the German clubs can't play in the same group (based on English clubs not being drawn in the same group) and Bayern and Barca (at the very least) will be in pot one, IE the same pot. So your prayers should be answered. I'm assuming Dortmund will be at least pot two if not one, and that we will be in pot two.

The eight teams of Pot 1 are decided already, which are:
Chelsea - Barca - Scum - Bayern Munich - Real Madrid - Arse - Porto - AC Milan

For Pot 2, and we are definitely in it:
Valencia - Benfica - Shakhtar Donetsk - Zenit St. Petersburg - Schalke - Man City

These could fall in pot 2 or 3:
Olympiacos - Ajax

Juventus is pot 3 confirmed!

And the following could be in pot 3 or 4:
PSG - Galatasaray - Borussia Dortmund

And pot 4 confirmed so far are:
Montpellier - Nordsjælland

Final eight in each pot will be done by tomorrow night after qualifying round completes, which for some teams get completed tonight and the rest by tomorrow night. Will update here tomorrow night then.

We will get one team each from pot 1, 3 and 4, and from 1, we can't have English team so that rules out Chelsea, Scum and Arse, leaving one of Barca, RM, Bayern, AC Milan or Porto ... so highly likely one of the Spanish giants or Bayern again ... ideal would be Porto from this pot though.

Our best case (easiest on paper) scenario is Porto, Olympiacos and Nordsjælland and worst case (toughest) is Real Madrid, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund ... which will be some group, consisting of Spanish, English, Italian and German league champions ... considering these are the top four leagues.

That's pretty cocky attitude I have to say. Throw Barcelona, Juventus and Dortmund in same group and I have to say it would be toss up between us, Juventus and Dortmind to make it through. Funnily enough, looking at the pot 1 apart from Porto and AC Milan I'd be most comfortable with any of the English teams instead of what we will be facing. Do not underestimate their European pedigree and the fact that for Spanish teams and Bayern Champion's League is THE competition. English teams need to concentrate on their extremely hard league more than anyone else.

Man City can't draw anyone from Pot 2, being in it ... and neither can we be drawn with another English team, so I have 'dimmed' those teams which we can't be drawn with. We'll draw 1 each from Pot 3, Pot 4 and the remaining ones in Pot 1 ...

Now start the prediction game ...

well, it looks like it will be a little harder, this season, for Infantino and his twat master to fuck us with the draw. they have just 1/8 chance from pot 4 and nearly 2/8 from pot 3.
Best possible case scenario will be AC Milan from pot 1: get that and will almost be a walk in the park whatever comes from the other 2 (also given that, in such case, the Italian rags might not come out of pot 3).

Just let me have the first game tied home and I'll be over the moon anyway, attending 2 top games in row, live singing the Blues at the Ethiad.
