Play Maicon,Kolo,Nasti and Kolarov.

Why not? Stop talking fucking rubbish go back to the defence that was solid last year, the unit, the best defence in the league in front of the best keeper.

Mind boggles.

I prefer to stand by what Mancini does......he dropped Lescott today and now maybe he will have a look at Kompany position against arsenal next week.

Lescott hasn't been fucking up all season, Vinny has. ~He needs help to get his form back & the way to do that is to put the proper defence back together & ride it out. If he drops Vinny & Lescott, we will struggle to get top 4.

Carl i know that now the time to speak makes it knee jerk comment time but if you think Mancini will bench Vinnie against Arsenal i suggest you try watching more games mate.No way in hell will Vinnie be benched and much to your chagrin Lescott will be back imo.

The pundits on Al Jazeera sport (Linekar, Souness, McNam... and our own (until recently) Hargreaves had a theory that Vinnie didn't duck but was trying to head the ball but it dipped and eluded him ! Did anyone see it like that ??

Im like a broken record Ted.....Lescott/Kompany have shipped in goals galore since latter of last season......Kompany is making stupid mistakes and so has lescott, Mancini can ill afford to allow 2 of his defenders to fuck up so he had to change it.I stand by what I said about Nasti, he played very well today against one of the best teams in the world at their place in his FIRST game for City.....its up to Kompany to get his act together.

But the lad made more mistakes than Lescott has ever done in 90 mins. It's perfectly understandable, as he shouldn't have been there but it's true nonetheless. There were so many things wrong defensively that you could spend about 2 hours listing them. Not just from the back 4 but the midfield too.

We have a champion back 4, the best in the league, which has played together once & let in one goal, a double handball.

It should play every game from now on, until it clicks again, then we will be stronger than last season because of Garcia playing in front of it. Unless we do what I am saying, I predict we will win fuck all.

I honestly think he is still fucked. It's hard when you are so emotionally charged.

Let's give him a break eh.

If Lescott was shit, I'd be on his case too but he isn't & probably makes less mistakes than any of our defenders. He also does loads of actual defending as opposed to occupying space etc. he actually goes & sorts things out.

I can understand why Bob may prefer a player who is quicker at passing the ball & that's fine long term; rotate Lescott when needed. But not at the fucking Bernabau when Vinny has got the defensive yips & can't pass water. He needs helping out ffs.

He doesn't really strike me as the kind of guy who would duck away from a ball.

Maybe he was trying to head it, maybe he did misread it, maybe he was trying to move because he wanted Hart to get a clearer view as the shot wasn't that hard. Who knows? It's the heat of the match and sitting on your coach rewinding Sky+ banging on about how it shit it from the ball doesn't tell half the story.

The man is one of the greatest centre backs in the world an, bar a few times when the defence was left exposed and the push on Ronaldo, had a decent game. Hardly time to drop him.

I for one never said drop him , I said if he plays as shit again against Arsenal then yes drop him as it will be deserved until he gets his act together.

That goal seemed like he ducked thinking Hart had it covered....Hart was blindsided and it def wasnt his fuckign fault.
Kompany needs to sort himself out as hes been fucking shocking up to now in the prem and tonight.

I don't think he was afraid of the ball, if that's what you're insinuating. He did, however, duck down. I guess he was trying to be clever & leave the ball to Hart, but it was a terrible blunder either way.
