Its ok like that John if this board won't let it format in a clearer fashion.

I can see now why it will be a very time consuming process.

Its well worth it though, thanks very much.

Joe Hart needs to work on his distribution!

Thanks Crossie, I am sure they can be posted in a much clearer manner though.
The Hart listings were easy mate. The outfield players have more than twice the listings.

I will open a new thread for these Hart listings to allow a clear run for the football vultures to extract the stories contained in them

If that doesn't work, try first copying the text from Excel to the Notepad. That should make the text separated by tabs rather than being in table format. And then use the code display.

Can one of you expand on this. I`m trying to suss out this code function, but only getting this:

Code: Select all
APPEARANCES DETAILS   HOME   AWAY   TOTAL
Games Played   19   19   38
Minutes Played   1,710   1,710   3,420
DISTRIBUTION/PASSING RECORD
GK Successful Distribution   164   161   325
GK Unsuccessful Distribution 59   85   144
TOTAL   223   246   469
Successful Passes 316   302   618
Unsuccessful Passes   180   227   407
TOTAL PASSES   496   529   1025

I just clicked the code button & pasted the data from a csv file

Most players are right footed so presumably shooting accross Joe's body towards his left, as the defenders will be blocking the near post.

I got it wrong. I thought tabbed space would be retained when using {code}, but it ain't. There are apparently BBCode for tabs and for determining the number of white spaces between words ([tab] and [space=x]), but they are not activated on this site.
