The 2-0 win at newcastle end of last season, second last game. Our defence could really do with a clean sheet.

I think it should be
Hart
Zabaleta nastasic kompany kolarov
Toure Garcia
Silva tevez Milner
Aguero
Reason for Milner they have quality going forwar and with kolarov bombing forward with milners work rate he can help defend, also no lescott because I believe Mancini has enough off him and he will leave soon, only other iption is to play dzeko instead off tevez but can't see Mancini doing that.

That's my guess rather than my choice

Maicon's injured form Tuesday isn't he?
Other than swapping him for Zaba, this should get us 3 points. And 3 goals, And a clean sheet. Come on Liverpool.

Maicon didnt train Friday and wasnt out for long on Saturday either.Unlikely he will be involved.

I have a sneaky feeling for Rodders but Mancini will probably go with Barry's experience.

According to Doug he joined in training so I'd put nothing past RM

The back five's a given (Clichy not Kolarov)
Tevez and Aguero up front
Ya Ya of course

Barry is our anchor when fit
SIlva is our bit of magic (when fit)

The last spot is up for grabs for me. Rodwell yet to convince me. Sinclair? Garcia (tired?), Nasri (injured?)

Of course depends on whether or not Mancini goes back to last season's dependable formula.

Plus Mario? I think an impact sub at home. Then he either produces a piece of magic to get us out of a jam or is sent off with just 20 minutes to go to play with ten men.

Garcia is great going forwards but doesn't have de Jong's determination. Maybe this is just a settling in phenomena?

Dzeko dropped from the squad. Terrible decision. He's just not being given any credit this season from Mancini.

I think Dzeko works best with Aguero, I mentioned in another thread about Dzeko being a percentage player - Aguero is just about the only player we have that puts balls into percentage areas.

Aguero on Mertesacker could be the key to the whole game.
