I hope Milner will have a great game- I think he deserves it. But I'm a bit worried seeing his performances of late (not that it's been too many). Delighted to see Micah back!

They have a decent midfield both McClean and Johnson will be looking to provide width and get crosses in to Fletcher(Lescott recalled for the aerial battle) but that defence they have is just asking for a battering.

I'm sure you can find them on mcfc.co.uk or on the beeb website. If not, let me know and I'll try to google them.

nervous as hell!
chuffed at Micah back.
think ezz normal to have as much fresh legs as possible, apart from Yaya who is always bound not to rest. Sunderland not the easiest opponents so that perhaps it's good not to leave him out.

I do not give a s***t about stars, only wants to see the lads fight and get 3 points!

From the selection I'm just hoping that Mancini is resting players rather than making a statement to the rest.

Have to say it might be a daft lineup, but am the only one happy at the thought of Micah going back to centre half? I loved him there under Sven and yeah he went off under Hughes but I've still always thought it was his best position.

A fucking blind man could see that Dzeko should be starting, that 4-3-3 is the system we are most comfortable and that he doesn't have enough fullbacks on the pitch.

Twitter is alight with Mancini criticism saying he's lining em up 3-5-2 today ... I thought Micah and Lescott centre of Zaba and Kolarov but how people are lining this up is Milner and Kolarov on wings and 3 at the back?

Good performance required today. I think we will get the 3 points, but an assured performance and a clean sheet will do us wonders.

It goes without saying that this is a massive match for City.A win is essential and Mancini will no doubt, win or lose, say the changes were necessary because the CL game was only 2 days ago and players havent had time to recover.

It's obviously key that we take our chances today and the earlier the better but I am sure Mancini will be looking to see that we can have control of the middle and not be found wanting when Sunderland win the ball and try to break quickly.I expect Kolarov to get close to AJ as if he doesnt he will be found out most likely.Micah at center back for his first game in ages will be interesting but he should be ok.

A big game for Milner too as he has clearly been out of favour with Mancini for whatever reason.I hope he gets the middle of the park job with Barry rather than a wing back role but whatever the role he will be Mr 100% I am sure.
