Yeah, fly out a week on Weds, cheers for the best wishes. I've promised to maintain a blog for the friends and family back home and because the ones out there at the moment update far too infrequently and just don't give much information about life over there............i realise there may be a more sinister reason behind that though.

The bad news.....the etihad / emirates / ba flight times werent convenient so I've ended up flying Turkish Airlines. Have you seen the plane they use out of Manchester airport? Google Turkish Airlines Manchester, although I'm sure you can guess the issue I have anyway.

That could be my view at Carrington. Add the curtain and I doubt I will see very much and that's assuming they don't work in the dome anyway. AH well better get going.

Whats the snow situation like over there?

Nothing over here atm, hoping that it stays that way until at least 6 when my plane departs.

Not too bad at the moment, (say 5cm?), wouldnt stop the game going ahead with the snow we've had; however its still snowing albeit not particularly heavily.
Fingers crossed!

Good man.

We could have the exact same conditions for Fulham as we did last year. Let's hope it's a similar result.

We have a heated pitch amnd if they have any sense they will have covered it.

United however are away at Spurs on sunday and they played a game midweek, whats the betting the snow is an excuse to postpone until a more convenient time for Baconface.

Unless this fabled huge snow comes this afternoon stroke tonight then the game is on.

What an anticlimax, Manchester has had a dusting so far.

Crap effort from the snow. Even more pathetic from the weather soothsayers, they're just shitwitches.

Am snowed in! in Basingstoke (approx 50 miles west of London) roads seem sort of ok but cannot get out of estate due to abandoned cars so am not attempting 30 mile journey to Bracknell.

Hope all the mancityfans.netters are safe and ok.

cheers
