Really, really glad he's gone for now though.

you mean you'll miss him being brought on late in important games where we need a goal?

What can I say, I'm a hater. The guys an utter waste of space and its a joke that hes part of the squad at all... At least now if we have a crisis we'll actually do something useful and blood a youngster which could benefit the club in the long term. He's just clogging up space.

That'll do. Hope he makes a fist of it there.

Not being funny but you pay that for a League 1 player these days. He is a Premier League footballer, albeit at the lower end of the division and as such we should tell Villa to pay up or fuck off. They got the same cut of TV money as everyone else and they have a big fan base so these excuses of can't afford it doesn't wash somehow

wonder if we will be paying some of his wages as we did with adebayor.

either way wish him well if this happens. villa need all the help in attack they can get, so good for them. was just never good enough to get into the team.

one of the stranger signings we've made over the past few seasons, even if he was young and english.

please, do hate away...although not sure it's so much his fault for signing with us. more about poor transfer work at the time.

funny how not one signing that close season ever fit in:

sinclair
rodwell
garcia
maicon
nasti

i miss anyone?

I had high hopes for Garcia & Rodwell (& Nastasic until I saw him vs a proper team).

All done and confirmed.

Obviously the City debacle wasn't his fault as such, but i never want anything as shite as that transfer to happen to us again.

What I want to know is; why is there nobody better ?

We signed Sinclair purely to fill a gap in the squad & fulfil Mancini's spending fetish; we had him on hold for ages whilst we tried to sign others.

Villa don't have much money to spend & have been in that position for ages. Presumably, they have scouts etc same as everyone else, & they have had them looking throughout Europe for players of sufficient quality, they can sign on a budget.

After this extensive search, they have come up with: Scott Sinclair.

Our recent transfer record over the past couple of years has been very poor IMO. We need world class players not squad players
