Did you miss the bit where we went to a 3-5-2?

It worries me that Bob has said he will be ringing in the changes , As I want us to go to Wembley again this year , But If those Changes are Pants for Hart Bringing in Sinclair , Milner Tevez a bit deeper and Guildetti if fit I could live with that . :)
Come on City get em done

The team I would go with is:

Zabaleta-------Kompany---Nastasic----Clichy

----------------Milner-----Yaya Toure

Silva----------------Tevez---------------Sinclair

------------------------Aguero

I would be very surprised if Hart plays.

Hopefully we have our best side out, including Carlos Tevez on the bench (at least)
Think we'll win 4-1.

I concur. I also think only Zabba will remain from the disasterous back 5 last week with Pantilimon, Kompany, Nastasic and Kolarov all coming in. Milner too will come back, as likely will Tevez with maybe Rodwell getting a game too.

Am sorry bt if he doesn't bring a few fringe players into the mix such as , Sinclair, Rodwell and pantiman then they might as well pack up and find other clubs. I do fear however Nasri will get a place in the playing eleven, why? Who knows I wish I did.

Kind of maybe says the typical city in embedded in us fans if we are fearing Leeds at home.

This is the opposite of you guys living in Manchester for me. If we don't win I may as well stay indoors a week.

I do however think we will do it. Those who do stay in the team should hopefully have something to prove and the Rodwells and Sinclairs will hopefully give justice to our buying them.

Lemons in goal and Wright on the bench. Nasri nowhere near the fucling subs bench either.

you are fearing Leeds . I am most certainly not fearing them .What's with the wind ups on this board all the time ? Leeds shouldn't get a look in on Sunday and if they do , well we don't deserve anything. This should be a good game to get City back into the winning groove. I expect nothing less than a resounding win.

For goodness sake lad. Tomato tomatoe. If you read it as I am fearing Leeds then so be it, but I am not. IHence why I quoted you when you mentioned i was. I am not. Also hence why I wrote that some of the fringe players should be given a start. is that clear?. I dont have a masters in english sorry.

I do however think that they will come at us with all guns blazing. Does that mean I am nervous about the game or fearing it? No. :-)

sidSmith wrote:Will someone describe full strength to me please? Under Mancini it's the reputation that picks the first 11, very little else. How else does Yaya walk straight back in when the reason given for Nastasic and kolo missing out is that they were 'returning from international duty', and then we played Garcia back there!?! I appreciate that we needed to bolster the midfield after the scouse game as we were overrun, but Southampton had even more freedom. Barry had a bad day but I think both Yaya and Barry were paying too much attention to the fact Garcia needed to be protected so were too deep. Being too deep like that invited Southampton to press us very high. We should have 'risked' kolo as both kompany and Nastasic will now be back, or even played Yaya back there with Milner in front, this only if you're going to plug the hole rather than play a 3 and lock the midfield down.

Based on recent performances I'd play pants instead of hart, Sinclair instead of nasri, Milner for Barry.

I may be inclined to give nasri a try in the silva role at some point, but that could be too many changes at once.

I'd also like us to have a clear plan b as it was obvious after 10 mins on Saturday that plan a was fucked, yet we didn't obviously try and do anything about it.

We used to have one but he went to AC Milan last season for 3 million cos he didn`t warrant a payrise.

I think you're probably right. Mancini seems to have no confidence in anyone else doing that role since Nigel left. Therefore he never moves Yaya forward, which is bizarre as I think Yaya is pretty pants back there, compared to when he's advanced. It's odd as I think Milner could do it adequately, he's mibile and robust enough, does the odd mistimed tackle (ahem), but if tips to sit could do a job.
It struck me the other day about playing Garcia as cb, didnt Yaya start in the position, wasn't it the role he was originally signed by Barcelona to do? I could be wrong.
Dazby, I didn't miss the few minutes that we went 3-5-2, was an utter shambles with the personal we had on the park. I really hope that wasn't plan b, more like plan j!
