Id rather finish 3rd or 4th and win the FA Cup, than finish 2nd and trophyless. We are in this business to win stuff, and another FA Cup win would be fantastic.

If we cant finish top, I really dont give a monkeys about 2nd spot so long as we end up in the CL. Granted we dont want to be plunged into the play-ff round, but unless we shit ourselves we will finish in the top 3.

A win tonight, and wins in our 5 remaining home games - all VERY winnable - puts us on 74 points which Arsenal and Chelsea wont be able to match given their remianing fixtures. That clinches third at worst.

Defo...Edwards the Butchers Mate....Though last I went there, they were shut. Something to with filing scenes for a World In Action programme.
Did you know that the boss of that establishment was kind enough to give Jackie Blanchflower (I think) a job there loading lorries. What a nice man.
He also ensured that the children in Manchester Schools were all well supplied with meat for their school meals too. Generous eh!

i have zero confidence in this team finishing 2nd. We could end up winning the FA Cup and i'd still feel a bit letdown, tho a trophy would for sure soothe my angst.

Serious question -- if we ended up trophyless and Spurs or Chelsea pipped us to 2nd? Or worse, both...how would you feel about Mancini?

i think unless he wins the FA Cup if Spurs were to finish above us this season then Mancini deserves his P45. Not even a hard decision. He'll have proven his man-mismanagement skills aren't working. What do you reckon?

Well said DM, exactly my feeling, and it does all come down to lackluster man-management skills for Mancini. Sometimes it looks like getting ready for war, cleaning your gun and showing up without any bullets.
