3-1 isn't a done deal right? chelsea will still have to send a pretty good side to Russia. a 2-0 win for Rubin kazan means chelsea are out. am i making sense, or is it just wishful thinking?

Stoker http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentin_Stocker has been excellent, best player on the pitch and running circles around spuds. Should have scored a few more goals, but looks extremely promising

Xhaka and Shaquiri were both doing very well for them but both have moved on to play Bundesliga football.

Did Lennon go off injured as well?

I haven't watched Bale much this season Beefy so wanted to see what all the hype is about. I agree, Basel have looked good on the counter, especially Stocker. He was their best player, and the Egyptian kid but he reminded me of Wright-Phillips a lot, did everything up until the finish.

I think I owe some people on here an apology!

Parker is a bag of shit.
Before tonight I didn't really read the negative comments about him and i always thought he's not bad. To enhance my poor judgement, I was even gutted when he signed for Spuds as I thought he could have done a job for us.
Thank fuck I'm not in charge of bringing players in. I always thought I had a good eye for talent, but after today i am beginning to doubt my thoughts.

Would be nice if Bale is out for our game against Spuds in a couple of weeks.

I liked that Salah (?) bloke, he looked to attack the defender at any opportunity and completely took the piss out of Bale.
