Looks like he's gone. Could have been a world beater, with the right amount of confidence and attititude. Unfortunately ranged from gangly dyspraxic halfwit to elegant, consummate pro striker from game to infrequent game. I'll miss him, but not as much as he should have made me.

Dzeko to Dortmund seems reasonable enough. Reus AND Gundogan to City sounds like bollox tho. Add Lewandowski & that's four starters gone.

I would cream my pants if we got Gundogan tho. That boy is quality.

fuck? is this a swap for lewandowski?

Hope not.

Lewandowski isn"t far better than Big Ed. Dzeko still manage to score a shitload of goals while playing little. He at Dortmund will be again a scoring machine like he was in Germany. Huge transfer for them imho.

I would rather have Cavani than Lewandowski (if the Falcao deal isn"t on the table) i really do not trust a player from there without Klopp.

agree with all of this. although i'd take cavani even if falcao were available.

My only doubt is over the translation of what he said as it could be something like I've been ie I've been on this plane? Who knows

Is that an official account? Can't see if it's verified.

Yes definitely official it has blue tick on, just not sure the meaning of a plane propeller and some words I personally can't translate & don't 100% trust the translations of - it was the account he tweeted snowy scenes via Instagram ages ago

It could just all be agreed and awaiting window before officially signing. He will be off. I personally think there someone agreed to come here if thats the case.

Is Dzeko practicing photography, that's a very arty picture. What the fuck it's got to do with him moving to Dortmund god only knows.

I'll holding off making a judgement until there's more info, but if it is true and he is leaving, then it's probably the best move all round.

He's never going be first choice at City and we know that's what he wants. Admittedly we don't always play to his strengths, but it's the sheer lack of effort we see from him more often than not when he starts that is the most frustrating thing.

He is still rated highly across Europe it seems, so we should be able to command a good fee for him, although probably not the 27m we paid. But with money in for both him and Balotelli, as well as removing their wages off the bill, then we would be in a position to buy a top class striker using that money. We would then have Tevez, Aguero, and the new guy, plus Guidetti, which would be a great attacking quartet.

I would have thought we would have bought at least 1 big name, even if we hadn't sold Balotelli and Dzeko (if he goes!), so there is a chance we'd still have money then to get another top player in. Bale would then be the one we would need to go after, in my opinion. If Spurs don't qualify for the Champions League, then I imagine he'll be available.

Their version of the Daily Mail.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I always thought it was more like The Sun.

The Daily Mail pretends to be something it isn't, and half of its readership think they read a respected broadsheet.
