Might, in itself, prove useful in connection with our own Sergio/PabZab/Carlos triumvirate, or in attracting other Argentinian players to join our ranks in the future.

Possibly, but the main reason being that he has been his right hand man for 13 years, that is the telling point for me.

There can't be that many consistently long managerial/coaching partnerships out there in the top flights?

I'm completely not okay with "Pello."

Great to see Kiddo staying and probably a relief for Pellers as well. The knowledge he has of the league is priceless.

That's going to turn into Pell end if things don't turn out quite as expected. Pelle in finnish literally means clown by the way.

How about El Gringo?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Can't have Pelle, already a Brazilian with a that name! Pell is shit! Pello is easy to say and could fit the Yaya and Kolo song.

With his sinister looks , Hell's Pells.

I'm sure there is a reworking of AC/DC's suoer tune in there somewhere.
