OK, it's all semantics. I obviously should have said last season we had a more talented squad and more capable side.

I would have thought that saying a better team means the same thing.

Yeah I know mate that's the most frustrating part as we should have retained our title pretty easily IMO. United got the rub of the green in parts and RvP's new impetus got them off to a great start BUT we should still have been capable of going beyond them. We were the better side...but not in the way it counts

I'm hoping the players can use that as motivation this season

United..... whatever. There was simply no excuse for teams like Villa, wasting a great lead at home, others not turning up at the swamp.

Teams fired up against City and a damp squib against the filth.

Payback time this season methinks
