I'd like to point out to Wilshire that E ngland's second goal was scored by someone not born in England

Anyone else think England were good tonight like Oliver Holt did?

I thought we'd win (had a 3-1 with the lads) but thought the changes would make it a bit of a trembler.

Worked exactly to plan and couldn't believe Sturridge got a penalty for jumping up and falling on his arse.

Agreed. Shameful behavior.

Sweden had to win that game as they play Germany in the last game while Austria play the Faroe Islands which would've meant Austria would've been the favourites for the play-offs if they'd got any kind of result.

Still, to fall like a bag of shit in the 90th says everything about the bloke, or should I say, girl.

So bad we sacked the coach. We're now now talking to Guus Hiddink.

Townsend caught my eye after just a few minutes when he disguised a pass to his right - I hadn't seen the lineup so I had to wait for the right camera shot to see his name on the back of his shirt. Very impressive debut, he was involved in everything and deserved man of the match.

About time Dazza, he stuck with the old guard for too long.

I've been saying for a year or two now the Aussie are in for a massive decline at international level. Could be entering a right Ice age.

The reason they play the old guard so much is because the game went to shit here 10 years ago, the league disbanded and one of the results of that is Being seen now, very few top level players in the current generation.

Here's hoping it doesn't last long.
