I think that Pellers will understand where we get the most from Edin and use him accordingly so that we'll see Dzeko playing at his best to exploit the way the opposition set-up in games as appropriate. The way that great manager's use players makes players look at their best because they're used where their attributes are most effective against certain opposition and / or in certain conditions etc. and that's why players like to play for great managers. I'm thinking that we may not see Edin playing in every game but when we see him he'll be playing where his strengths get results.

People expect Dzeko to be like Negredo because he's big, when in actual fact he's more of a sneaky player than a strength player & is a bit of a wuss sometimes but produces some fantastic moments. Negredo is a proper old school, scary centre forward, which we have needed for over a decade. Both can play together imo because they are so different, but probably not against the very best teams, when we should have more men in midfield. Both are also great players to come off the bench.

They're very different, however, Mancini bought Dzeko to bring us something different up front to what we had. I still think he was after a Negredo type of player who could hold the ball up and allow us to be a bit direct.
I actually think Dzeko may struggle to get many games. He was given the chance at the start of the season and, Newcastle game apart, didn't put a lot of effort in. Pellegrini has nothing invested in him, so if he doesn't need him, it doesn't matter if he never plays again and the club sell him at a loss. That said, he may get the Newcastle game to avoid burn out of Negredo and Aguero.

What I want is the simple things. If on the pitch, present an option. If passed the ball, attempt to control it. If control eludes you, attempt to get it back.
Nothing too difficult an it doesn't matter who you are, from dzeko to Aguero to neggers, it's not a size thing it's an effort thing. Nobody at our club is lacking skills, what makes some stand out is that effort an desire.
