Edin setup a cracking goal against Arsenal in this cup. Yet another one of our players getting tarnished. Commitment? all players have quite periods in games, but i believe all the current squad are commited. Negrado has a different style of play to Edin, but the are both very valuable to the squad.

Sorry mate but that's just simply bollocks.
If we wanted to sign a grafter up front back then we would've just taken Dickov back. Dzeko was signed to score goals, which he has done.

I could score goals with the amount chances he gets. He is utter shite. Low work rate, poor 1st touch, slow, wasteful.

Must disagree there.low work rate, poor 1st touch, slow & wasteful you can argue both ways. Utter shite he is not. He goals per minute ratio is excellent and as a forward thats his currency. Linekar did fuck all in a game sometimes but he knew where goal was. Edin has similar attribute

He is ok to bring off the bench. If he starts he is usually shit.

Maybe we dont play to his strenghs. I think he's a top striker. He scores goals. Yes he misses some and yes he looks disinterested sometimes and yes he traps the ball further than i can kick it but he does what he is supposed to do. Put the ball in the net. Regularly. With proper winger ( hopefully this is where Navas comes in) he will score even more

The way things are panning out I can see Dzeko being sold on. He's going through another of his appalling periods. There are also rumours that Dortmund are desperate to sell Lewandowski to the PL in January (7m ish) to stop him going to Bayern in the summer.

Sounds like a potential deal to me if the Pole and his agent are up for it.

That said he'll probably get 3 tonight.

A switch of Dzeko for Lewandowsi although sounding great wont achieve much i dont think. Lew clearly fancies Bayern snd eould be itching to get back there. Also, although he is a great striker he isnt hugely better than dzeko imo. Certainly not for goals scored. Also, is he going to be happy with a bench role if we assume Aguero & Neggers are 1st choice. Now if Aguero is sold thats a different matter...
