Where is CuteMancs? What are they saying about this one? Must be down and out before the Saints game but now flying high after making the QF of the league cup beating a high flying Southampton mid-week??

I agree, keep it going as game time together will improve them further with an eye to changing them in the 2 nd half if we're out of sight. There will be plenty of games in Dec to be rested, they've had 4 days rest so should be fine.
Silva hobbled off too so expect he'll miss this one.

After what's happened in the last three seasons we need our strongest 11 out. Let's end the run and tear em a new one.

Well on twitter quite a lot of their fans are saying they are looking forward to their annual 1 nil win over us.

I will be posting this morning :)

No to resting key players for league games. Especially away games and especially away where we have had nightmares in recent fixtures. It's Sunderland away, best team to get that monkey off our back please.
Only change is to bring navas in for his pace we will need.

Apparently Silva is out for four weeks.
Mind you, the source is a mirror reporter so who knows?

Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Manuel Pellegrini says Kompany, Jovetic and Silva not fit to play Sunderland. Nastasic and Fernandinho are doubts.

Pellegrini also revealed Kompany set out be out for another two weeks. Silva has a calf injury that could rule him out for '3-4 weeks'.

I am looking forward to his debut, but think it needs to be a cameo once a game is wrapped up.

If this turns out true, then immediately after Sheik's message about producing our own players Guidetti is starting on the road from academy to first team

If true (fingers crossed) and if we get the game sewn up then I'll be very chuffed to see JG get some game time after all the early promise and these many years of false dawns.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

He is only in travelling party. Not neccesarily the match day 18. Would be great if he was in 18 and got on the field. Suspect he is jyst coming for the ride figuratively speaking. Get him used to being around the 1st team and bring him on graduallt so as not to daunt him. The League cup v Leicester might be a more realistic target to play
