Next: Southampton (Away)

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Anyone in town early for this game? I am heading out tomorrow morning itself and then have the evening free to myself there (will be in Portsmouth though) and then watch the game on Saturday and return afterwards, instead of travelling/rushing in the morning of the game ... so if anyone else is from that part or getting there tomorrow, give me a shout, am always up for a 'City' discussion ...

Negredo and Aguero up top as well, enough cock stroking for that Bosnian fuck, he can earn his way back in if he has the stones or just fuck off completely.

Surely it is in our interest to have Soton think they can get something out of the game?

EDIT:

btw, the foul and abusive language about City players that have moved our club to a higher level , a higher level of football, is most unbecoming of you.

It really is essential now that Lescott plays with Kompany. Through a mixture of Demichelis, Nastasic and Garcia, we've had to put up with players out of their depth at the back. If we are to have any chance of winning the league, we need our strongest centre back pairing.

However, I'm quite concerned now that Pellegrini doesn't appear to know how to create a sound defence, so I fully expect us to struggle again defensively this weekend.

Based on form this season, I would keep Kolarov in the line-up over Clichy. Whilst both are not too strongly defensively at the moment, Kolarov's crosses are fantastic so he's worthy of a place in the team.

Milner should be brought in for Navas, who does appear to be more of a 'home' player.

I think it's a good thing that Southampton's flying start has taken a hit. As others have mentioned above, we need to get out of the blocks early like we did at West Brom. Except this time to remember to keep playing after the 35 minute mark.

this one is going to be interesting.

i think we'll see Fern be rested and the fullbacks rotated. Aguero and Negredo will start for sure.

Boruc is a big loss for them and they seem to have lost their early momentum.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Southampton for me are starting to feel the pace of all this running about - they are missing a few key players and it may be a classic case of falling away when squad strength/depth is needed. As has happened many times over the years - Hull were top early season not long ago!

Southampton play a high line and a pressing game from the front. Need to get our pacy players Navas and Aguero in behind them. Time for a few balls over the top!

if they are going to keep this high line tactic then our attack minded wingers will be the undoing of them. I dont think theres any team in the prem that can deal with the pace we have down the lines, the link play and over laps will have them doubled up so much so it will leave massive gapping holes in the centre. Because of this im sure they will try to hold the midfied like most teams we have come up against this season, as its not there normal style (so far) theres more than a good chance a few of their players will be out of position from time to time. We should be more than happy with this and I actually think it will be our first big away win.

Half their team's injured and they've lost 3 in a row. Heard it all before...

That Wanyama fella is a big, big loss. Really impressive this season and I dont think they'll do too well without him.
