Garcia looked like a perfect kind of player for the English game. He lacked pace fair enough, but Mancini had no interest in pace anyway.

For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to be able to react quickly enough mentally. I still recon if he'd been playing every week for someone like Everton for 3 years before we signed him, he'd cope comfortably now though.

He doesn't technically lack anything for a def mid apart from pace, & he is a better footballer than he shows. It's his decision making which mainly lets him down & unfortunately it lets him down badly.

It's his lack of football brain. He never anticipates anything. Barry is even slower and mopped up with ease.

Forget the passing forward, Nige never really did that and we loved him. You just have to be good at something. Anything? He isn't.
