Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

If Utd lose I won't be disappointed but if they win I also won't be disappointed. Only for this game however. They are no threat to us but Chelsea are.

I think people are missing the fact they have won 5 of their last 6 league games.

Maybe out of FA Cup, behind in the League Cup but they aren't throwing away too many points in the league right now.

I don't want the rags to get a confidence booster in the build up to a possible cup final, I want them to scrawp like they usually do & Chelsea to bore & scrawp like they usually do.

After this they've got Sunderland Cardiff Stoke Fulham Arsenal Palace Olympiacos then us in the cup final.

Beat Chelsea & they will win most of those games & will be full of beans & kick fucking lumps out of us at a crucial period of the season, plus all the bandwaggon knobs will turn up & kick lumps out of your wives & children at Wembley.

A draw at Chelsea & a draw at Arsenal & some humilliating defeats inbetween will do fine.

It's quite simple really ... what's best for City? That's all I care about ... who gives a fuck about mid-table clubs eh?

You could also make the point that as long as we keep on winning, doesn't matter what anyone else does.

yes you could. But we will slip up and we need our rivals to also slip up wherever they can. Rags are no threat to us this year. Chelsea are, a Chelsea loss is clearly the best result for city. Can we really not put our hatred to them to one side if it means we benefit from them winning?

I hope the rags stuff them and all is well again at the swamp! It won't be long before they mess up again and I don't want agent moyes out of the job this summer! Plus 3 points clear of Chelsea will really put the pressure on them and give us breathing space with all the tough away games we have to come!

I want the rags to win 100%. Chelsea are a threat this season not the rags, why would anyone want maureens team to gain anything from this game? If it was arsenal I would want a draw but any other team and we need chelsea to drop points.

Put away your anti rag bias and be realistic.

1 Arsenal 21 22 48
2 Man City 21 36 47
3 Chelsea 21 21 46
4 Liverpool 21 25 42
5 Everton 21 15 41
6 Tottenham 21 1 40
7 Man Utd 21 11 37

If we win today that takes us 4 points away from Chelsea and 13 away from the rags. If the rags win tomorrow that puts then 10 behind us and Chelsea will remain 4 behind. If we can win all our games up to the Chelsea one in couple of weeks we could potentially be 7 points clear of them if we beat then at home. I can not see the rags wining all their remaining games this season and us losing another 3 or 4 for them to catch us so I’m going for a rag win please.

Agreed - and also missing the point that they are the fucking dirty scum and City fans should never hope for anything for them. I would not give them or their arrogant know nothing fans the steam off my shit.

We can take care of ourselves - the lower (and faster) they drop the better (IMO)

The stake has been driven into the heart. Now is not the time to walk away. cut off the head and burn the corpse.
The requirement is a big chelsea win...4-0 sounds good. let scum have their mini revivals then a nice slap and sneer from the top table. How some can wish for scum to win is beyond me.

Draw.

The scum may not be in the title race this season, but they are our long-term rivals. It's best if they struggle to make the top 4.

How anyone could want one of our main title challengers to lose is beyond you?!
Really? Well if Chelsea win tomorrow and we lose the league by 2 points will you still be glad they won this game? As we learnt two seasons ago- every point counts.

I mentioned it a few weeks ago but I think the fact that some would rather see the scum lose, rather than us win (yes I'd class it almost as a win for us if Chelsea lose) is perplexing.

I never want scum to win. if we lose by 2 points ill look at the 3 away defeats against bottom half sides thank you very much

So you can't put what's in the best interests for City ahead of your hatred for the rags?
Rags are a midtable side this year who pose no threat.
I'd rather the Rags win and knock Chelsea's confidence and give us daylight between ourselves and Chelsea.

If we win the league anyway and they sneak into 4th and get Champions League football next year AND we end up in Pot 3 again because of that, would you still want them to win?
