Well if you want to hook up twobob, doom and others, with Doom preferring Soho then the Green Man on Berwick st would be a shout.

Twobob can walk from Russell sq (10 minutes or so), you can jump the tube (Piccadilly line) either change at Holborn to central line, one stop to Tottenham court road OR stay Piccadilly to Leicester sq then walk up through china town, cross over Shaftsbury ave an walk up through soho.

If you want some grub then just around the corner from the Green Man is Bodeans (Poland st), the best BBQ pit in London :-) or my other favourite is burger and lobster on Dean st. That said they don't open until midday, so you'd be pushing your luck before the game!

The green man is half way between Tottenham court road and oxford circus tubes so if you are doing this before the match take bakerloo from Oxford circus and change baker st to either the metropolitan or jubilee line straight up to Wembley or reverse the trip if meeting after the game.

Cheers mate! The Green Man mentioned is the one next to Wembley, though: [urlnp=https://maps.google.nl/maps?ie=UTF-8&q=The+Green+Man+Pub+and+Hotel&fb=1&gl=nl&hq=the+green+man+pub+wembley&cid=18116025000371833726&ei=KNcFU_HWKJCw7AbZTw&ved=0CI0BEPwSMAs]LINK[/urlnp]

On Sunday I will just head to Wembley straight away and meet up with people there. A meet up on Saturday would be nice though. I already got a date with Doom, but the more the merrier!

Coincidence on the Green Man front, I am well acquainted with the one at Wembley too lol..... The one in Soho was just a suggestion for a Central London meet up

Enjoy your date with doom ;-)

Cant wait for this. A day off from my own football. I imagine that we will be down early. Last year we went in the curry house the blue room (I think) and its was ace but will prob start at the Green Man. Looking forward to seeing Mike and hope that this time I am not wasted like at the CS. Don't recall much from that day....

By HT you sobered up enough to ruin it with the "watch us lose 3-2" shout.

I blame Mancini.

I'm in, and my lad.
Will try to get to Green Man a bit earlier. Last time I could hardly get up the hill for all of them coming down.
And you left that beer garden in a right state you mucky pups.
This is how you're supposed to leave it:

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

I doubt the Green Man Beer Garden has ever looked like that for a good while, especially on a match day.

That place will be absolutely hammered from around 9.30am onwards.
