I think he's doing a great job especially as it's his first year in England. The football is breathtaking at times. If he can sort out that defence we will be one hard team to compete with.

Not politically correct.... But that is a total and utterly the mot SPASTIC response/thread to today's game, can't be bothered to read the whole thread, which most probably agree with me?

Doesn't seem to get angry on the touchline, he's got this generic look for all occasions. Can he inspire- I don't know, we came out swinging at 2 down but no manger can be blamed for the type of fuck up that led to their winner. Time will tell, if not this season then next. Maybr another year of missed opportunities and what ifs. It's painful and hard....but that's life when you're a City fan. CTID

We would have been happy with this in fucking August. A cup, a trip to Bayern and Barca and potentially a top three finish is failure? Bring on years two and three!

He has gotten better and better - hope he is around for a few more years.

Assume this is a thread started without any real thought - probably heat of the moment

Im happy with him and having had a full season to fully know the club, squad etc next season should be good. My one wish is that we cut out the numerous complacent performances which are a hangover from the Mancini days.

Bottom line for me is that the game yesterday was cruelly lost. Yes, selecting Navas has a very poor mistake, as it was versus Bayern, but if Kompany is going to have a game a bad as that, you've got little chance as manager. Add to that the injury to Yaya and a clearly unfit Kun and basically your spine is gone. Then factor in the referee who inexplicably did not send Suarez off for the dive when it was a clear 2nd yellow. Remove any of those and the game would have been won. Not least when Kun got in down the left. A fit Kun would probably have driven into the box and slotted in at the far post.

None of the top players stood at all, for me. City because of injuries or crapness, like Kompany, their front two were largely anonymous and Gerard had a single shot. Coutinho and Silva stood out, players with guile. Demichelis was comfortably the best in our defence.

It still wrankles this morning and I really don't fancy our chances at all.

We need to wise up, Suarez looked Clatenburg in the eye and dared him, he shit himself, Manuel is calmer and classy. Jose would have had his whinging wankers all over the ref , not cricket, fuck it! He wants to get you sent off so work the ref and do the same to him.
Even the whole of the media are shit scared of saying the obvious City the ref have just been fucked by the player of the year, plus a nightmare from the player marking him. Ronaldo does it Spain, sent off for aiming a slap he appeals, which is code don't fuck with me or I will be at PSG you cunts. pellets is to nice and so are the players. Fuck nice.

..if there is anyone to blame for yesterdays defeat than it's Mark Clattenburg. How Suarez was allowed to stay on the pitch is a joke, add to it the Suarez handball in the build up to Liverpool's first goal, his blatant dive while booked and then Skertel's constant fouling.

Ahh F8ck Liverpool we are never going to hear the end of it if they win the league. Plus there appears to be Liverpool fans falling out of the wood work.. god I hate them so much!!! My wife is a Liverpool fan and it tears me up inside!!

As with most of our losses this season, the 'blame' lies with idiotic mistakes by the players (not to mention a bent referee) and not the manager. I can't wait to see what Pellegrini can do with this squad next season (and this season is not over yet, either).

you would nearly swear pelligrini sliced the ball....
vinny clears it properly we draw and pelligrini gets credit for turning it around, fine margins, very fine margins.

Think we should start a mass campaign to get him ousted. I dunno maybe all chip in to buy a plane and fly a banner over the ground... it's not been done before has it?

The Sheikh can fuck off as well. Pouring millions into the long term future of the club.

I demand a return to a relegation scrap in the lower leagues and a wet Wednesday night trip to the Shay or perhaps York.

I think there are a lot of knee jerk reactions today and yesterday, mainly because most of us couldn't see us losing yesterday.

We gave the points away and having clawed it back to 2-2 it still looked like we were coming away with a draw at least.

We can still win the league . After next mondays game , i think we will better know where we stand. I don't expect scouse to get three points next weekend and seeing us close in on them will help us

The majority of our dropped points in the league are from individual errors, there's no legislating for that from a managerial point of view.

Totally agree with you, individual mistakes can't be expected by any manager!
